Of those identified in the link above, I strongly recommend the patchy paul. has 7 different pulsation settings as well as 8 speed settings. when I get close, i run through the pulsation settings. I've never made it to the end however.

I bought mine from an adult bookstore when I was in college. Not even sure what brand it is. It is a generic smooth cylinder (pink). I mainly use my fingers anyway, but I am curious about the rabbit vibrators.
 
I personally love rabbit or wabbit vibrators. My first vibe was a rabbit and after that, a non-rabbit vibe just doesn't give me the same amount of pleasure. They still sell it on the Lit Shop:

I loved that one so much that when the first one died after one year, I bought another, which died less than a year later. Other than the lack of longevity and constant need for new batteries, it was great.

The one I use now was a spluge. It's a California exotics with rotating beads, rabbit ears, and different speeds and settings for both vibration and rotation. My guy likes to use it on me and the result is usually him peeling me off the ceiling :D

I remember trying a smaller one whose name I can't remember but I don't think it ever really got me off, even on the highest mode.

But I have the Hitachi magic wand. I just used it today on the highest setting and let's just say I'm glad no one was home and my face was in a pillow. ;)
 
My girl uses a Doc Johnson bullet style, she's never tried the penetrating vibrators. We love when it works, only problem we have is we end up pinching the cord when I'm on top (she wants me close to her) and eventually it wears out. The remote (corded) and actual vibrator work great, it's rarely turned up to full strength to get her off.

Of all the vibes I've used, I think the Hitachi Magic Wand is by far the best....It's expensive, but worth every penny...!!
 
The first one I ever used was this thing that was meant to be a battery operated back massager.... It was seriously powerful and I still use it now after 6ish years, though it's weaker now.

I had a remote controlled bullet which was the first one I used with another person, and that was okay, but I managed to kill it after the very first time I used it. Bit too delicate for me. I wish they made more powerful vibrators with remotes.

Next was a pocket rocket. This one is great, really easy to use and portable, with strong vibrations. This one id for any travel or out of home vibe usage.

Then I got quite a large rabbit with all the trimmings, I found the ears on my clit did way more than the shaft inside. Not my favourite, kind of 'eh'.

Bought a We-vibe 2. That was fun for a while, got off every now and then with it, it was fun to fuck with it in, but found it kept slipping - maybe our sex is too vigorous for it? And the button is difficult to press. The We-vibe 3 looks like it's addressed that issue.

The Hitachi Magic Wand. It's called the Medisil here in Australia, because of the different plug needed, and it is pretty much all I need. Put it in my boyfriend's hand and it is a sexual weapon. I wouldn't be able to stop myself cumming if I wanted to, over and over. For anyone who can take quite a bit of stimulation, and doesn't have problems with oversensitivity - I add my voice to the chorus and recommend this one.
 
Mine is no batteries. Just plugs in and charges. I LOVE it. It is called the touch. My next one is a his and hers, remote control one. I can't wait to get this one. They aren't cheap though. But my touch, what it's saved me in batteries, has made up for it. Plus is powerful. I'm learning to squirt pretty good with this thing.

As long as you don't mind spending some money LELO SORAYA is the best quality. Everybody that tries it is never disappointed.
