My choice would be:

The four parts of Harold's adventures in India -

but that is not practical. It would need too many characters; too many extras including three army units and hordes of revolting natives.

The next:

Lavender; I would like the scenery and locations. The ghost might be difficult.

and

Christmas Truce - not many characters and some great scenery from Constable country.

Which of yours would you like as a movie?

Interesting question! I'd never thought to ask myself that before.

Assuming it could be made with high-quality CGI, I'd have to say Planet of the Tentacons, my tentacle porn story. I don't know if such a scene has ever been done. Most tentacle porn video is extremely low quality -- laughably bad.

A friend told me that he wanted to turn My Fall and Rise into a screenplay and send it to someone he knew, but nothing has come of it.

I think Mary and Alvin could make a good HBO series. :D

"Riddle of the Copper Coin" could work: half live-action, half animated perhaps.

On a smaller budget, "The Floggings Will Continue" might make a decent farce.

Your stories would be better as television series, not films, but even then they would need a lot cutting out. Unless they spread them out over several seasons. But wouldn’t it be nice if you did get approached. It would be like winning the lottery.

‘My Life as a New Hire‘ series.

The ‘Endangered’ series.

The ‘Dig Two Graves’ series.

If we could get Rod Serling back to do a 'Twilight Zone' episode, and had enough money to film in Buenos Aires, I'd love to see House of Doors done.

Two fairly insurmountable obstacles.

Here are my shameless plugs for the 15 of you who hang out here.

This is my first crack at Fantasy Fiction where a human interacts with other races in something along the lines of Dragon Lance, Final Fantasy, etc, etc. I had a number of nice comments that said I created a world that was believable very quickly. I think seeing something like this (I'm writing a second chapter with new challenges and more development) would be fun as a movie or a video.

And this one:

Where an American mercenary in Africa crosses paths with a fire genie who has the ... hots for him!

(Boo me, I'm fine with it. It just came to me as I was typing this)

I think some light special effects would make that entertaining. And I think it's the best story I've ever written.

Perhaps sr71plt's Wolf Creek (https://www.literotica.com/s/wolf-creek-ch-01), because it runs through a slice of American history, pulling cameos of famous people in, but it probably would have to be done as a series rather than a single movie. I think the chaptered novella I'm currently posting, Confederate Gold, would make a good (and educational) GM porn film.

I do this in reverse a bit--write a more meaty, plotwise, story or novella from a porn movie seen.

Oh my gosh. “Huginn’s Yule” without a doubt. “One Night in Xanadu” for sure. “Tales from Old Shanghai” definitely. Hmmmm.

I was actually thinking of the other way around. I'm considering a prose version of a screenplay I did (well, mostly did) a long time ago. It's a redo of an existing movie, which in turn was based on a novel.

The problem is that most of what is on this site would have to be less explicit to fit into an R rating, even a very "hard" R. Yes, there are NC-17 movies, but it's hard to market and distribute them.

There is the whole adult film industry. I'm not sure how much they go in for plot. One classic "ambitious" adult movie I saw, The Devil in Miss Jones: the plot was indeed kind of wobbly, and the production values were mediocre at best.

Anyway, maybe the Holly Sykes / Tiffany Harris stories might work as a movie (there's going to be a third lady). It has the plot of a young car-service driver who gets involved with his mature-lady passengers (actually, they get involved with him). It would be great if was actually filmed in New York, but probably it would wind up with Vancouver or some such place as the stand-in. I don't think it would be worth the money to try to recreate the 1970s.

Oh, jayzoz...

The Alexaverse would make a great anime.

The Great Khan would be a killer series.

And Time Rider would be hysterical. I'd pick one of those three, I imagine.

Sapphic Serenity would be amusing.

I'm leaning toward Time Rider, for the comedy value.

On lit Siblings with benefits would make a hell of a nasty netflix original series.

Off Lit my Abigail series would be the same.

Her debut in book one is as theatrical as it gets.

I have one of my novels, which was originally posted here on lit 'Every Dog Has Its Day" being turned into a script and have two indy movie directors interested. All that would turn into would be them putting it on DVD themselves and selling it online and at cons, but still pretty cool.

I'm going to be in it...probably as some schmuck in the background at a crime scene.

You have aspirations to becoming another Alfred Hitchcock, Stan Lee or Colin Dexter? Good luck to you. I always enjoyed looking for when they were going to pop in and out of a scene.

The Incest/Taboo crowd who hated the story series might disagree, but if you cut out the actual incest from 'Body Swap With Sister's Boyfriend' it would make for a good comedy movie. Not the most mature and sophisticated comedy movie of all time, but with a jock and nerd swapping bodies and attempting to masquerade as each other it produces some extremely funny results such as the nerdy brother attempting to play football in the boyfriend's place. Plus it is set in the Brisbane/Gold Coast area of Queensland, Australia so it would have some pretty nice scenery.

I guess the stories from BB1958 I would want to see would be 'Rag Doll', probably as a series, as it has three distinct storylines, 'Lysette's Gift', and 'Soldier Doll'; I'm mentioning them because he never would, the thought of blowing his own trumpet would embarrass him; I however, have no shame whatsoever...

The Dark Chronicles.

Arthurian mythos with mist, stone circles and three female leads. Battles and babies, a traitor's head on a pole. And an old magician on a donkey for comic relief.

Congratulations! That's pretty exciting. Make sure you get proper credit for the appearance. "Lovecraft... Background Schmuck." That's almost more fun that the big credit for creating the story.

I’m fondest of Meg, and would love to see her on screen, but have my doubts it would work all that well.

That aside, I’ve had suggestions that both A Clutch of Mermaids and Up, Down and Away would make good flicks. Could be.

Actually, Dawn of Dawn, my as-yet-unpublished entry for the Summer Lovin’ contest, would make a splendid flick on a strictly visual basis - a sunlight garden party with luscious lasses dressed in not much, fetish tennis, etc. Think Downton Abbey with collars...

But Meg Will always be closest to my heart.

My portfolio is miniscule compared to nearly everyone else here, so there's not much to choose from (yet).

It's also on the tame/sappy side (Romance) side of Lit compared to most all of you.

That said, I could easily see my Wine and Spirits story being adapted for as a made-for-tv movie—something along the lines of a Hallmark Channel Halloween special event kind of thing. Ha! :D (Except not quite as explicit during the sex scene as I was in the actual story.)

But at least it would be different than everything else on HC, which is always just the same story rehashed every time.

From Literotica, I'd say my Mary-Jane Watson story. I have a mild kink for the character and seeing something like that made into a film... yeah. That'd be all right.

From the rest of my work, I wrote a story called Coming Home in my collection Neighbors. It surprised me in a lot of ways, because I didn't think the premise was all that interesting. A failed actor comes back to his small hometown after his ex-wife accuses him of things he both did and didn't do. His next-door-neighbor is a hard-on-her-luck single mom, attractive, but not a typical busty bimbo waiting to get it. The whole thing centers around her little girl becoming friends with the actor despite her mom's reluctance to trust him. Of course the adults fall in love and proceed to practice making babies.

What was supposed to be this dull, dry story with a bit of sex to it became one of the best things I've written. I wound up loving the characters, and I think that came through to the page. So if I could make anything I wrote into a film, it would be that one. I think it's a good mix of drama and sex.
