...in your opinion...

In the early '00s I used Bl0gspot for a creative writing college course, and I know many people use Tumblr. I'm a bit of a novice in this field and would like info on a place that allows hardcore content.

(Lit actually blocked that word so I used a "0" in place of an "o"!)

Personally, I love Tumblr, in fact I've become a bit addicted to it. Yes, allows hardcore content, very much so, and there's a lot of content which shouldn't be allowed but stays up for quite a long time. Tumblr does remove posts and does close down blogs but none I follow (that I know of).

It does have its annoying sides, and it takes a while to get used to. I've never posted my own content, only reblogged (with pervy comments), so I don't know what it's like for an original creator.

It's better suited to images, short video clips and short texts than to long-form writing, I feel, because of its portrait format.

Good luck!

Many out there so that's up to you as it will depend on what you want from the site. Also what type of pictures you want to put out there. Anything out there is free to hackers the Russians are the worst for using your images. Have fun.
