Which is better soccer or basketball?

If you're not a fan of either, why the fuck do you care?

ETA, the argument sector.

A well-played game of basketball is one of the most exciting sporting events you'll ever see. I can appreciate soccer, but it will never be as entertaining to me. Fun to watch live, though.

Personally, I would say that soccer is far better sport to watch and I preferred to play it when in school.

In fact, soccer is not that bad a sport I just don't like the idea that it should be the "world sport." Too many other better games out there. Basketball unfortunately is not one of them.

Renard, you only like soccer because most men in the bleachers are topless, showing manbreasts and leering you in.

Renard, yesterday when the Heat were in 2nd overtime with the Celtics, were you tucking on your nipples a little TOO hard?

both sports are more entertaining than american football. nothing worse than 50 over padded players in one field playing nomore than 10mins individually whistle flags and whistles go off every sec. fuck, the kick placer is his own position.

Football is the great American game. Its replaced baseball as the national pastime. Why do you hate America?

i didn't say anything about hating american you pompous idiot. infact i like baseball too and played it in highschool. ok I triedout, happy? also, soccer has taken out hockey in american audience.

Hockey is more popular than soccer based on a number of criteria. Why do you hate Canada?

Was or was not Kathy Griffin talking about you, yes, you Tang God, during her last stand up.

"So I get his letter from a super fan, here's how it goes..,"Kathy i LOVE you! ONCE donE WITH you, you ass smell like mint. I will MINT yer ass out... I will eat and then dinE you the FUCK Out."

That was you, yes?

Of all the sports I played in school, soccer was my favorite, followed by football.

Soccer's not that interesting to watch, though.

It pretty much has to be. American football will never catch on there. They have no 300-pound guys. If a British or French team tried to compete with any American one in football, do you know what would happen? Half their team would leave the field on stretchers.

Watching basketball is a lot like watching ping-pong.

The Brits, French, South Africans NZedders and Australians have plenty of big guys - but they play Rugby. However, you don't see many Rugby players over about 240 to 260. This is because in Rugby the play is more continuous and therefore the biggest guys suffer heat exhaustion because their skin area (for cooling) is proportionately less than the smaller guys. With many less substitutes allowed in Rugby, the biggest men would never be able to stop overheating.

The best games for players being hospitalized usually involve either South Africa or the small Pacific nations. Manu Samoa and to a lesser extent Tonga and Fiji are competitive with nations having far more resources then them.

I bet it is what one grows up with, that they like the best.

....like living in the south.....the SEC Football is all that matters and is talked about year round, whether it is being played or not.

It's ok to admit that you just like to watch sweaty guys, Renard.

I don't believe that about the British or the French, however I do believe it about the Australians.

What Australia ought to do is begin a league of teams that plays American football.

And then, after the Super Bowl, there could be an American-Australian Bowl.

Americans would go nuts over something like that.

It would be tremendous.
