First grade was ok for me, I still remember Mrs. Wheeler, God Bless her. :) But in 2nd grade I was paddled for writing on the bathroom wall, 3rd grade got in trouble because I rebelled against my dictator teacher, and in 6th grade.. damn. I was a hellion. Got taken to the principal's office many times, was even forced to sit in the very back corner of the room because I was such a rebellious little bitch. heh. Many parent/teacher conferences happened that year.

But, 4th grade was my ideal year. I loved my teacher and I remember being so happy! That was the first time I became interested in boys. Randy Kenley gave me a ring (made out of metal that eventually turned my ring-finger green.. heh) but, I was in heaven.

What year .. 1st - 6th, was your best and why?

First grade was my best year. I had two close friends and I honestly can't remember anything bad happening that year. Every other year has some really bad memories attached.

i didnt really like elementary school because i attended a very exclusive school. all yaahs and I was sort of the wild child who wanted to play football, play with the boys (innocently, mind you) and just NOT sit around still and proper. but my teachers were nice :)
the food was yuck though.

Halo :rose:

hey morning...

I deliberately didn't include Kindergarten because I distinctly remember having my mouth washed out with soap because some cute boy in my class encouraged me to yell out a swear word during classtime.

Well, that and I also remember hiding under the piano during music time eating paper with a girlfriend who convinced me it was cool to do it. heh. I'm such a follower. :)

None.

never did good till HS.

Grade school just sucked ass cuase I found out every year more and more problems I had.

My Kindergarten teacher is the reason I am not artistic today. I loved the painting easel and would experiment with using the brush different ways to paint. She told me I couldn't be at the easel every day, and not at all if I wasn't going to paint the correct way. She also called me a liar in front of the whole class.

I didn't convince anyone to eat paper, but there was this time in Kindergarten that I led everyone in pouring a handful of salt into their trays. What were they thinking putting salt shakers on the tables for Kindergartners?????

LOL- morninggirl

I know! I was taken to the principal's office in .. um, 3rd grade I think because one of the guys dared me to put mashed potatoes on my face and pretend like I was shaving with my fork... I was hauled into the principal's office with mashed 'taters hanging off my face as the teacher held my hands behind my back so I couldn't wipe it off.. lol...

My best elementary grade was 4th. Mostly because it was the first one I spent in this country.
