Where's the line?

Just wondering where the line is between submissiveness and BDSM?
BDSM is a umbrella term for a large variety of practices that entail a difference in power between the participants-- one way or another. Several of those power dynamics take the form of someone dominating, and someone submitting. Submissiveness is a personality trait that can find an outlet in BDSM.

If you yourself are submissive, you probably find yourself hyperaware of any tendency towards domination in your partners, huh? You can leave it at that if you are happy enough, or you can look around for someone that can explore D/s with you.

BDSM is a 4 letter acronym of six words. It's really BD DS SM. DS, Dominance & Submission, is where submissive comes into it. So there's no line, submissive is right in the middle of BDSM. ;)

That's my understanding.

Priapus: put it back in your pants and don't bug people who haven't given any indication they're interested in your come-ons. It's creepy.
