I've had an intense desire lately, to just pack my duffle, get in my car and start driving.

Without taking into account financial concerns... if you could just leave today and start driving, where would you go? What would you do when you got there? Would you assume a new identity? Would you send postcards to the people back home?

I Would Rent A Secluded Cabin Right On Lake

Oceechobee{sp?] And Throw All My Tackle And Rods, And The Kid Into The Car And Go For A Year Long Fishing Sabbatical:D

The Only Other People I Would Want To See Were Food Market And Other Fishing Folk! LOL

The Record Is There, I KNOW IT!

Well, I Suppose I Would Need A Midwife With Me Too:D

the aircraft graveyards of New Mexico. Just you, the desert and hundreds of miles of aircraft.

peaceful, at its best.

Once I got there, i'd go exploring.

No new identity required.

No, this is my time.

Spooky.

RNAB, I'll bring my fly-rod and be your midwife.

I think I'd pick a random direction and drive until I found the ocean.

I Do Like The Sound Of The Desert

Endless Miles Of Lonesome Sand.....That'd Be My Second Choice:D

Second dune on the right. Stop by.

I would go to "A" mountain in Tucson, Arizona, sit on the huge, painted letter "A" and watch the cerulean sky deepen to navy as the desert sun sank into oblivion.

No new identity required--though I am partial to Her Supreme Sexiness.

No postcards--$.25 for one, outrageous I tell you!

Jumping in my car and driving north. Headed for the coast of North Carolina, with the long dunes and wind sweeping through the sea grass. Cries of lonely gulls that circle overhead, joining the rumble of the surf beating on the barrier islands. Settle back among the hills of sand, just off the beach, some drift wood serves for a small fire and a blanket for a bed. When the stars come out the night sky sparkles like diamonds.

No new identity needed, just the capacity to forget the world for a moment.

Post cards could never capture this.

Texas again

I'd drive to Perdenales falls just north of Austin. I'd camp out by the streams and drink crown and coke and eat camp fire hotdogs and marshmallows. I'd come home on the weekends to do laundry though!

I wouldn't pick a destination. I'd just get in my car, crank up the stereo and find some nice long highway to drive down. The stereo would be playing as loud as my speakers would take. I'd just see where I ended up.

Can I hitch a ride with you Gatsby?

Sounds absolutely divine.

I s'pose there's enough room on the dunes for more . . . but we may have to share the blanket ;)

The Allegheny Mountains in Pennsylvania or the coast in Maine. And no, I wouldn't tell a single person where I went, not right away anyway! I would live in complete solitude, me and my horses and critters, and become the hermit down the road everyone whispers about and the kids make up scary stories about.

I'd just grab the camping gear and go. Don't know where, but i'll garuntee i'll stop in the mountains.

me and the old man just came back from Station Square in Pennsylvania, but i think as long as you have someone you love with you, it doesn't matter where you go, any motel room will do....just lock the door and leave the world behind......:D

Just keeping on drive north till I get to this house. Just wait on the front steps till he got home from work. Surprise him and shower him in kisses...hold him tight and simply feel him.

Simply spend our time together catching up and making love. :)
And, then going out for some coffee... and waffles.

Hehe! The stories are probably all true anyway...

Lexington is about 3 to 4 hours.
