I'd love to be at one of the great imperal balls of Vienna or listening to Beethoven or Bach playing their music. Or discuss with Plato the foundations of politics....
On the other hand I'd love to have a chance to say good-bye to my grandmother, my grandfathers and uncle.

I have to agree with babydoll, Egypt would be great, just seeing some of the loot they've taken from the tombs, what would the palaces have looked like? Another would be Rome at it's peak.

I'd want to be in Rome while Caesar was making his conquests. I'd be waging a political war against the Metellli. Though debating with Cicero would have been a difficult challenge. Maybe he wouldn't have been murdered later.

From a "romantic" perspective, I'd like to be in the Sun King's court - Paris. I love those dresses and would delight in peeling them off of those ladies.

Being a true Scot and knowing how I look and feel in a kilt, I'd go back to the days of Robert the Bruce be among the great clans of Scotland. To stand wath me Scottish brethren shoulder ta shoulder an faight off the Aenglish hards comin' up into ar lands. Aye I could do that.

I would also like to go back to the late 30's and early 40's in America. The time of big bands, zoot suits, wool fedora's and silk stockings! To live like time like a classic film nior.

I am too simple for this great opportunity to experiance a great period... I would probably just choose a critical period of choice in my own life and go back and make an alternate decision to dedicate my self to gaining more knowledge and education and using it better. But then I'm retired.

I would want to spend spend my time with Julian the Apostate, Roman emperor (361-363), who was young, brilliant, raised as a Christian, and who was the last non-Christian emperor.

Actually, what I would really want is to spend about five years flashing in and out of various cities throughout the late antique Mediterranean world (200-600) to witness many different events and hobnob with numerous different people.

What a very touching list little angel and the contributors are all a very cultured lot. BigDawg69's dream seems reasonable to me especially since I'm writing this on the edge of Stirling castle where Mel Gibson's troops bared their arses to the English,

I'd plump for the Annunciation since I think Mary was properly rogered and not discreetly impregnated by an angel's message. It might even be titillating enough for Lit.
