It seems that some State Dept. employee's attended therapy sessions at the taxpayers expense to help them deal with the trauma of Trump's re-election.

OK Marco, you don't even have to have input from Vivek or Elon to deal with this situation. If they're so fragile of mind that they can't deal with a presidential election they are FAR too delicate to deal with America's foreign policies. Find out who they are and help them exit to a career more suitable to their weak minds.

So you want to fire people because they are seeing a therapist?

Probably review some laws on firing people. ..maybe spend some time on wrongful termination

Went on vacay. Returned to see you're still a dumbass.

Hire 14 more people to run the effiency department.
Fire 90 million govt. employees to ease the workload of deporting 23 million taxpayers in the labor force.

Brilliant!

Well, when you put it that way let me think about it.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Yup, fire their pathetic asses.

About 15% of the US Workforce is employed by State & Federal Government.

You might want to stock up on canned soup now before the collapse.

Lol

Nope. But if they're State Dept employee's and they can't cope with a change of Govt, which can be expected every 4 years, then they're in the wrong job and need to be let go. They're civil servants, their job is to do what their political masters tell them to do. If they need therapy sessions to deal with an incoming Trump admin, they are political partisans, not civil servants and they need to resign or be terminated on Day One.

LOL, how can I count the myriad ways.....

The State Dept: gut them
Education - close down
Every diversity unit in the Fed Govt - fire them all
IRS. 87,000 new hires. Gone.
- FEMA - not fit for purpose - fire 95% of them and rehire Vets where needed
And that's just the start......

I wanna job working for Elon. I can do this!!!!!

So you're not happy that they get health insurance and use it?

Are you suggesting that only people 100% happy in their lives deserve employment?

LOL. Nothing to do with that and you know that's not what I said.

Let me restate it. If they need therapy to deal with a change of government, they are in the wrong job and need to depart or be departed. They are civil servants. Govt WILL change every 4 years. They have obviously been hired by mistake and cannot handle the responsibilities. They need to find a job that suits them better.

Of course it is. How they deal with the stresses of their job isn't your business, just as how you deal with yours.

It's not your choice to decide how they deal with what life gives them. Saying that they need to be fired is wrongful termination. People have liberty to choose their careers.

This is the easy one, just raise the minimum level at which tax is paid to cut out the 25/30 million lowest paid. What they pay is so tiny it is not worth collecting.

There will be a high job demand for dishwashers, drywallers, landscapers & roofers after the purge. :)

In Michael Moore's documentary Roger & Me, some former auto plant workers are prison guards, and more are prisoners. A guard said his pay is half of what he made in the plant, but he likes the work more without the auto plant heat.

You got most of this totally wrong.

Every federal agency is presumed to have a certain sphere of autonomy -- every one has a mission statement, part of the legislation creating it, which does not change from one administration to the next.

Remember, this is the way it's supposed to work. Congress creates agencies with this in mind, and not with the intent that they will be the president's instruments.

We need embassies to provide services for American travelers. We will be keeping at least that much. Beyond that, the State Department has been an instrument of an unelected corporate-bureaucratic partnership. It needs some deep cutting.
