Where should I take this story?

I found the idea in the archives, and twisted it for my own purposes. But I'm not sure where I want to go with it...

Perhaps Sam, prince of Myleka (an island nation near greece-fictional) is visiting the US. He's in NYC and gets tired of all the official bs he has to deal with, so one night he sneaks out the back entrence and goes looking for fun (he's 23-27). He finds a cool looking bar and spies a girl belting out some song (karoke night, which intrigues him). She's sexy, maybe a little drunk, and is dancing while singing. He moves in on her, decides to offer to buy her a drink. A drink turns to two, to three, to the point where they're making out in the corner of the bar. He wants to fuck her, but he obviously can't take her back to the hotel and so they go back to her place. They have amazing sex, and afterwards she falls asleep. He's still a little drunk so he doesn't notice that his wallet has fallen out of his pants (or his cellphone, or something like that) and he leaves and sneaks back into his hotel room. Next day the girl wakes up and finds the wallet and realizes who it was. Does she tell the press, or track him down?

...but, I like to think it was a sweet "cute meet" as they say in Hollywood, followed by pleasant hot sex. In the movies, she tracks him down, they get split up, have two more 'jeopardies' then, live happily ever after.

The 'cashing in' would be a dull ending, although realistic in our celebrity gossip National Enquirer society. But in erotic term, her 5 minutes on the Today show are slim meat- unless she then has wonky sex with Al Roker!

No one wants to see her call the press or has a better idea of what she should do? Anyone?

I guess it would depend on the woman, and how she felt afterwards. Is she a bit of a prude, who never had a one night fling before, and got a little more tipsy this night than the others, and now she feels like he took advantage of her?
Oh, then it turns from a cashing in story, to a rape expose. That's intriguing.

Or, maybe she is down in the dumps, not a lot of cash, and barely struggling. Now, she has the knowledge of sex with this man in power. Maybe she could use it to her advantage? Blackmail him to get her out of the country, and lots of money, and basically anything she wanted, including more amazing sex.

She could make a country song out of the whole thing.
lol, no wait, she's in New York. It'd be a hip hop track with some new flair that will be remixed by P. Diddy and Eminem, and go on to sell triple platinum.

how about she tries to return the wallet, discovers the ryal advisors will assisnate her, cause she's broken some taboo about him only having sex with the future queen, so she goes to the press for safety?

The advisors and such try to keep her away, but the prince see's her from wherever he is and agrees to meet with her in private* for a few minutes. She is really, really pissed about the night before. "YOU TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A DRUNK" and all that. "WHAT IF I GET PREGNANT?!" and all that. And now she has the fire inside and enough courage to blackmail him. She doesn't want money, though...she wants HIM.

*maybe they can't meet in private and they meet in a room with a couple of *very* shocked retainers.

A very good point paul, and something to definitely consider....I have to write the first couple scenes and see how the characters seem to want to go. I usually lose control of my characters around page three (in word) and find myself bending to their whims.

my idea would be:

she wants to return the wallet. So she goes to some advisor of the prince. She demands to see him. Well, the advisor says she can see the prince ... after she had sex with him (the advisor) ...

so she has to have sex with a few advisors and servants, before she meets the prince ...

considering the current administration, I would never write that...the idea of W makes all my sexual impulses go away
