Lit has a strange power over those who post at it and there are some wonderful people here, it's true.

Cheesecake is wonderful, especially when you need it most.

Oh, chocolate cheesecake even; that sounds deliciously rich.

I was just thinking to myself the other day...how many have gone...or I haven't seen in quite a while...*sigh* Hopefully the need to see will draw them back one day...and hopefully I'll be here and get to converse with them too.

One can only hope. :)

Well, I'm sorry about the living with an asshole part, but I'm sure the cheescake made things better, at least for the moment. :)

Yup! More than a year ago to a fellow litster- patient1. Of course, he CLAIMED to be republican and then decided he didn't want to vote for Bush in 2004. Bait and switch, I tell ya. :D

And thanks. We've been very happy together and hope to be for many many more years. As soon as I get him back to the correct political party. ;)

Bush claimed he was a Republican who was going to be a domestic president that didn't do nationbuilding. He was going to keep the budget balanced, too.
He swore to protect, preserve, & defend the constitution, but he signed a campaign finance reform bill he didn't believe was Constitutional.

Bush switched, so I tried to pull the plug. :p

being a republican is like masturbation................everybody does but nobody wants to admit it
damn liberals , say one thing and do the opposite when confronted

am i a pacifist? only when threatened

I dunno Pablo...

Republicans stand up and proudly say, "I'm a conservative."

You don't see ANY Democrats accepting the Liberal label.

They are centrists, progressives, free-thinkers, you name it, anything to avoid facing up to what they have become. The party that is closer to Marx than to Washington...

;) ;)

I voted for one Republican, the first one in a long time, and the rest of my votes went to the Libertarian and Constitution parties. Pookie voted for Kerry and every Democrat on her ballot. Big, big, even huge difference!

:D :D :D

you should see the shit we have to vote for over here
a party with good policies in denial and a government that slags off the other parties policies before it steals those same policies and claims them for its own you want to ask ppman about the new freedom of information act over here and why it only appears to apply to the previosu governments records in the run up to a may election , it then suppresses anything that may seem detremental to its own election  campaign due to security measures
