where can i find *free* photo editing programs?

my microsoft photo editor is gone...i don't know how to find it since i recovered my computer from its breakdown....so i can't resize av's anymore...ugh.... THIS IS SO NOT MY NIGHT!!!!!

Search the usenet. I've gotten every single one of my programs there for free. Expensive programs, as well. Windows 2k, PaintShopPro Deluxe, Adobe, etc...

Nope! BTW, I thought promoting WAREZ was not allowed on this board.

Why would I want to get it for free? Granted I hate paying the high prices, but when they make me money, lots and lots of money.... How much I make isn't important, but software would be cheaper if software weren't being stolen by some of you folks.

If you just need to resize, maybe do some basic crop rotate stuff.. Eyebrowse is most excellent, and free!

Start -> Find files or folders -> find "Photoed.exe"

When it finds it, Right Click and choose Send To -> "Desktop (create shortcut)"

To find all kinds of freeware or shareware I use www.downloads.com.

You can search for something specific or browse by category. Some are just trial versions but a lot of freeware too.

i did, and its not there!!!! I did dl PrintShopPro tho...(haha)

go to shareware.com and get Ultimate Paint...nothing fabulous but can most of what you need to do.
