Hi all !
So okay i've seen on the site faq and i've seen some people mentioning this, but I've never - despite actively looking - found any.
Those are the stories branded with a green E (IIRC) that's awarded by staff for its outstanding quality. Anyone know of lists or search filters that would allow me to see those ? Thank you.

The "E" and the monthly contests were both retired before I started publishing here. I really think @Laurel and @Manu should remove references to them from the site.

They haven't been retired, Laurel just doesn't give them out very often. I saw one within the last three months on a How-to.

I dont think there's ever been any kind of official statement about this, but my impression is that these days they are only awarded for submissions which offer good advice about writing. I got one for my article about the use female names in Lit stories and, apart from older stories, whenever I see a green E its on practical advice.

Yup. Seems like your best chance to get the Editor’s Choice award is to make the editor’s life easier.

OK, apparently the Mandela thing is true and I have slipped into an alternate timeline, where E's are still awarded.

Surely that's a simpler explanation than my being wrong.
