Today is a very chilly, damp windy one. Not sure it has even made it above 38 today. We did have some snow flurries this morning. Hope it does improve by the end of the week.

So...what good advice do you guys have for an East Coast girl moving to the Midwest? I already know I have to live without cheese steaks <gasp>.

Good afternoon Goddess ~ Happy Hump Day!

Are you talking the real Philly cheese steak? That is probably true unless you have the knowledge.

Not sure how close to the ocean you are/were. The winters in the midwest can be brutal....Lots of snow, cold. The one two punch is the worst. We get dumped on by snow, then the arctic front moves in and it gets bitterly cold. Sighs

Oh well, I was born in Philidelphia and have lived in WI since my parents came back to the midwest. And that is most of my life.

Where I am we don't have much of a spring. Winter doesn't want to release its grip too easily. The autumns are gorgeous. Summers can be wicked here too. Can get in the high 90s with lot of humdity. On those days I wonder if I moved to Houston.

Hope I haven't scared you away.

All in all it is a great place to live.

Boy do you have that right! Last time I went home to visit, I had to hit up Jim's and Tony Luke's.
