AD - My wife is a beautiful woman who has a lot to offer me. One of those things is the photographs she has taken over the years. As I have said on posts before, I am lucky to share a bed with her every night, and wake up next to her every morning.

I have always tried to encourage her in all her endeavours. She has wrestled with many things over the years, the details of which are not important here. I feel that self-esteem is the biggest part of a person's life. There was a time that hers was low. One of the things that I had to prove to her was that I knew I wasn't the only one to see just how beautiful she was, inside and out. Posting pictures, chatting, posting on the threads and getting the honest opinions of others were some of the many ways of building that back up. I encouraged it then, and even more so now, knowing there are others out there that see her for the wonderful woman she is. She will always be beautiful to me, for it was not her looks that helped me decide to marry her, but everything about her being. If I am proud enough of her to want to share her with others who can appreciate her just as much, is that a bad thing?

so here is a poem....

~freedom~

whisper your sweet words to me
they now mean nothing ~ i am free
fondly i smile upon your face
you don't see you have been replaced
you reached inside and touched my soul
my dreaming, now, you will never know
i gave myself to you in trust
you took my body ~ but only in lust
i will live on, i will dance again
you no longer have power to cause me pain
but deep inside i think i know
that you will miss me when i go
when the sunshine turns to rain
when the darkness calls your name
you may wish you took the chance
you will crave another dance
but then i will be far away
and you'll find someone else to play
this truth you took for just a game
the depth of which i could not explain
your mind was always closed to me
the circumstance would not let you see
that age and time are nothing true
compared to all i felt for you
and so my friend, i'll hug you tight
then disappear into the night

waitressing while my feet throb
weekends i work to make my rent
seems the money is already spent
so if i seem to disappear
know that i am always near
serving shots and mug o' beer

a bowl of cheerios ~ some milk to drink

with Fiana, i would sit and pray
for hope and strength to fill her days

with Mr. E, and all the rest,
i would do what i do best
make some tea and weave some tales
sit and talk and if all else fails
sit in silence, and listen close
cause those are the moments that matter most

My friends, for now, my rhyme is done
now comes the rising of the sun
to each of you i send who i am
though we are scattered through out the land

though i may not post at each weeks end
i tell you now, you are my friend
on what ever path you seek to find
keep your friends close within your mind
