I must admit
I do have one or two people on my ignore list. Let's just say, they are deserving of it. I don't like nasty condescending people. Mainly drama queens who think the whole world will collapse if they leave this site permanently. I know nobody would miss me. Nobody knows me, so what does it all really matter. I just visit and have fun.

I tend to put someone on ignore who simply fills threads with fluffy-bullshit. Like that chick who used to post H-U-G-E pictures into her threads and such--the page would take forever to load. Making the board more difficult to navigate or wasting space here with typical grade-school-age-childishness is beyond my tolerance limits.
I have wondered if kidrock and the female character he plays have actually left or if I have just not noticed them. Same for the yoyo or a few others who were obviously overzealous trolls.
I have not seen any of the: you have blah-blah on ignore, click to read, etc
in such a long time that I guess all my ignored folks are gone.
I don't use the fact that I dislike how someone represents him/herself here as a reason to put them on ignore. Even Hitler had some valid points worth reviewing. Even if only to learn how to deal with such a thought if ever confronted with it again or in a different context.

I have a few names that I have on ignore, just to remind me to respond with the proper manner, so that arguments do not occur. It doesn't mean that I actually ignore their posts...it is just a mental reminder to behave when I see their posts in a thread. If I am in a pissy mood, then I know that it will not be for anyone's good if I post in a bitchy manner. It is all in the hopes that things will smooth over at some point.
