You can beat the house at roulette.

Roulette. I always bet on red.
$5 bet. If I win, I make $5. ($10 minus the $5 bet)
If I win, I'm up a net $5. ($20 minus the $15 in bets.) If I lose, the next bet is $10 (always on red.)
If I win, I'm up a net of $5. ($40 minus the $35 in aggregate bets.) If I lose, the next bet is $20.
If I win, I'm up a net of $5. ($80 minus the $75 in aggregate bets.) If I lose, the next bet is $40.
Etc., you get the idea.

Will pay for a vacation in about a couple of hours, $5 per win, then I'm out of the casino.

Do not play this system unless you have a very substantial bankroll in your pocket, and make sure the wheel doesn't have a low maximum bet limit. Those are the only two ways you can lose to the house: (1) not having enough to keep the pryamid going, or (2) getting the system halted by a table limit before a win takes you back to the $5 starting-over bet.

I no longer work in a casino but have for years and maybe because of that the allure is simply not there at all for me to gamble. No one wins in the long one. Never. Ever. Still I am glad there are lots of folks that enjoy the casino's because lots of people around here make their living working there.

i'm not good at craps. the times ive tried gambling on that, i went broke.

I understand the basics of craps, but you lose me with all the little side betting stuff. 'Pass the line', 'Don't pass the line', 'Hard rolls'... is that for me or the other players, or both? It's fun to watch, but the extra stuff confuses me.

My wife likes the penny slots. Don't laugh; she won $2300 on a penny game once and in less than twenty minutes. Best I could do was $600.

it reminds me of my grandmother. i took her once to the casino.. an all she did was play in the penny machine. she won 150.00 an she started with $20.00 worth in pennies.
