What do you do?

If you notice that someone hasn't been posting for a while, someone that you are close to, or have interacted with frequently, do you wonder what happened? Do you try to find out?

Or, is it just part of the internet life? People come. People go. You get over it.

Just curious. . .I haven't been posting much lately and it doesn't seem as though I've been missed. :D

They take their rightful place...in the firey pits of HELL!!! There is no getting around it unless you smash your harddrive with a Sledgehammer!!!

Didn't I already apologize to you people...its not like I'm dead in a ditch, I have job (s) to do.

Depends - I've tried all those. If its someone I know well I email - PM - phone them.

I wouldn't worry bout it much...unless you are a BMOC or part of a tight unit people tend to not notice any MIA's until its been an uncomfortably long while...

...then the search parties go out

I miss CelestialBody here.

I need ying to my yang.

i need proper indian representation.

I am not even indu but muslim bangla ----------->yes yayati.

I'll usually ask a mutual friend first. Sometimes it's just because of time differences and schedules that I don't see someone.

First I assume they have been murdered and assuming my supposition to be correct I dont ask too many questions because I dont want the killer coming after me.

If sabby disappeared I would be on to the mounties faster than you can say lost at sea.

SABBY...YOU'RE BACK!...LOL

I was in exile, cutie-pie, due to being unwelcome in my own hayloft. I roamed Europe and had a few addresses of Lit friends and I sent them postcards. I felt good, mentally in contact. I'd one or two e-mails I could occasionally write to and receive.
It's been a hard time for me and my Lit friends have really been a big help to me, even in my absence from the board.
So I'd suggest - get an address or two, an e-mail or, as Dilly says a phone number.

I agree with freescorfr and Dill... sometimes a phone number isn't a bad thing. Friends are good to have no matter the occasion.

Very true. . .there's probably one or two here who wish they'd never given me their number.
