Hi Folks,
My RL social skills are fine, but never had experience with an online community. I sort of tip-toed in and never introduced myself as I see others doing now. So, "Hey." I was thinking about this the other day and I want to thank everyone - I've had very pleasant, entertaining, and informative experiences with you all since I joined in 11/06. But I have a full-time job dammit, and I'm not getting my work done. So quite being so enticing!
Anyway, I now have have 373 posts. In a thread the other day 3113 referred to me as "the new guy" (in a good way). Then in another post someone with 100 or so more posts than I do (wish I could recall the thread) basically asked the title question.
So, all you vets, what's the cutoff for newbie to other? Number of posts? How many? Join date? How long? A secret logarithm involving time zones and DST? Smartass reponses are also welcome - you know who you are.
