When is a Newbie not a Newbie anymore?

APRIL KNOWS ME SO WELL :)

:p

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm .......

Am I a newbie???

Look your not a newbie anymore when you don't want to be one. It all comes down to you.

Savage Kitten you are by no means a newbie, sorry but your not.

A newbie is someone that wants to be a newbie, if you don't want to be a newbie then don't.

I joined back at the beginning of February and I have NEVER felt like a newbie. I made friends from the start and have made more along the way. Just have fun that's what were all here for. :)

I think I stopped being a newbie when ...

.. the first bid was placed on me at the auction. And I strongly believe I still was a virgin then *g

Seriously ... I think it much depends on how you sourself feel about it (completely with you on that one Nicole). And I really do find myself SURPRISED!!!! at the amount of people lately saying they feel like they are not part of Lit / the original crew of Lit / the hard-core Lit Clit.. eerhhhmm .. circle I mean, while I always figured they ARE the inner circle, so I think nothing proves my theory more than that! And even though I doubt I may fall into this category there are just (as in real life) those personalities who are more outstanding then others - and just as in real life it is GREAT that we aren't all the same. There are people who recently joined this BB and became gurus long before I even became really really experienced, there are people who only recently joined and who I wished would "acknowledge" my presence as much as there were "oldbies" I wanted (and of some still do) to direct a word my way when I started here at first - now if you read this (and manage to make sense of it) and figure you always thought I was part of the "oldbies" I hope this straightens out all perception questions you may have in the respect of being or not being a newbie.

It doesn't matter how much you post (although no posting at all doesn't really help to socialize - just as overly eager posting not really helps to make your opinions getting the respect and value they may have) and it matters little for how long you have been here ... it matters how "at home" you feel around the site and the people you share it with.

We all wish to be acknowledged for what and who we are - but just as in real life it happens that some people we wish desperately to take notice of us don't - and sometimes we feel home and comfortable immediately ... all I can say is that NOBODY should take the acknowledgement (or imagined lack thereof) on this BB too important.

And one last thing ... if there is someone you want to get noticed by - send an e-mail!!! If he or she doesn't seem to repond the way you would hope on the BB then jump your shadow and click on the silly e-mail button! It may not be for any bad intention or lack of interest but simply for similar apprehension or sheer oblivion (I am the expert in NOT noticing anything like that when I myself am concerned!)

*chuckles* damn - now I know why I won't become a Guru any time soon - I spend way to much time with single posts. Gotta cut that rambling I guess and go for the on-liners *winks*

Hecate *Slap Slap Slap* if you, my fantastic teacher are not part of the "IN" Crowd (something I hate hearing by the way, hell your "IN" when you walk through the front door) then who is???

I agree back with you on the whole "if you want someone to notice you, Email them", this is the best way to grab that particular persons eye. If you look in the corner of their reply, see that little symbol that says mail??? Click it and go for it. See how far you get, you might be surprised.

Good luck to all. :)

You know what guys. You're not a newbie anymore after:

1: Gotten your first Lashing from Lasher
2: DCL cracks jokes on your expense.
3: Deborah gives you a lecture in religion and small arms fire.
4: Flagg has picked a fight with you.

There! The universal Lit secret is out. ;)

Well Goddamit Xander I'm a fucking Newbie after all (LMAO).

None of that has happened to me yet. Damn Damn Damn. :D

Xander - you just "outet" me from the oldbies by 4 of 4 possible options!

*chuckles* thanks for saying that Nicole - that was EXACTLY what I was trying to show *lol with a happy hug*;)

*HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG* @ Hecate.

Now come here and let me feel you up. :p

See Hecate nothing changes does it???

me too! me too!

Hecate - my mentor!

Nicole - you sexual butterfly you

Siren - you fiesty lil semi-newbie *lol*

I agree with you all. I haven't felt like a newbie since my first post here, although i've felt ignored b4 (every1 goes thru that)

and Siren... I'll leave the rule makin up to you and lasher, I'm not much for keeping rules, much less make them haha

*grumble grumble grumble* I gotta start pickin my fights better damnit! by Xander's accounts I'm still a freakin virgin all the way around haha

You know what guys? So am I. A newbie.
never gotten a Lashing
Never had DCL crack a joke on my expense.
Never had Deborah lecture me in religion or small arms fire. (though I did ask if I could borrow a few guns from her once)
never had a fight with Flagg.

So there you have it. X-man is a newbie after all :)

Well why don't all us newbies go for a drink then???

OR

We could just have an orgy right here right now ... Did I say that???

Hey Kitten, I think that I may have passed Xander's 'coming of age' test - only problem is that it was so long ago that I can barely remember the time that Lash lashed me or that Dixon humoured you at my expense *laughs*

Lately I have been a little too hectic to settle in here the way I used to ..... I feel like the Newbie now. But I can't wait to join you all properly again.

So what do we do now?

Can we apply for a "group lashing" now?
Or attend a communal service held by High Priestess Deborah where the sermon will include the use of small fire arms embedded in the sermon?
I do doubt I will ever be able to get DCl to crack a joke on me - I like the with him- bit too much about good laughs...

AAarghhh - shhooot - Nicole just beat me to my suggestion to just skip all this and go for a HUGE "old newbies unite" orgy *lol*

was about time I think we got to get to know each other ... Nikki darling - Savage Kitty .. right here right here .. let me introduce myself ...

Say - how we started a new thread giving a short description of who we are??? *putting on my best all innocent face*

*Looking sternly at Hecate*

You can't be serious!!!!

Oh the Horror..........

Oh boy.....here we go again LOL. I guess next, you want me to dance.

*lol* Now Xander - doesn't THAT have something of a Dejy Vu just in itself???

I still think a "brief description of who you are...." *stopping short and ducking from possibly flying objects* ;)

Maybe someone would care to shut me up with these very special means the Literoticans are known for *wink wink*

Hecate, I don't think that inoccent look works well when you are in leathers and holding a whip.
Nice try though.

LOL Merelan, I was wondering about the same thing. Pure innocence and Hecate in leather and whip, just doesn't seem to work out.
