When I Was a Kid....

WIWAK, you memorized everyone's phone number - starting with their phone exchange letters...mine used to be, "TE"...as in "TE3-xxxx" - the letters represented the name of the exchange word...can't remember what TE stood for now though....

WIWAK Moving Sidewalks was the name of the band Billy Gibbons was in before he was in ZZ Top.
 
When I was a kid, it was " daring" to watch a movie at the movie theater and then sneak in another movie ....was a rush to get away with it...all the while laughing and acting really suspicious
 
When I was a kid, I spent my Saturday mornings in front of the TV watching cartoons...
 
WIWAK and I was ill my mama took care of me. Boy, do I miss those days. :(

WIWAK the Olympics were on ABC and we had Jim McKay, live programming no matter what time of day or night and some serious corruption going on during the figure skating competition.

Now we just have serious corruption all around by having the Winter games in a "beach" resort. Um, what?
 
When I was a Kid, I used to love eating candy Valentine hearts....now, I can't stomach them. I can remember eating box after box and then becoming sick
 
When I was Little Corbal, we hand made valentine cards with manila paper, crayons and scotch tape and the only person that got candy was the person you liked. Needless to say, I never got no fucking candy. Haha.
 
WIWAK the candy haul on Valentine's Day was almost as good as Halloween...
