When did the C in AMC turn into CRAP?

This struck me as a bit odd. The C in AMC stands for classics, yet, they show Holloween 4 & 5. That's a bit of a paradox, showing crap, instead of classics. But, I love it, anyway.

I hear ya...

I thought classics were over 25 years old or so. I scan occasionally to see if they got "This Island Earth" or "The Day The Earth Stood Still", but they got '80's movies going, and not a Gene Kelly flick anywhere! Must be a change in ownership/management/Ted Turner, they used to be top notch!
