No one pats you on the back or gives you positive feedback for promoting and living a heteronormative life with 2.4 kids, white picket fence and all that, and believing in law and order and a sensible border policy etc etc, these are just the default positions for normal people, so some cynically pretend to be all woke and progressive, pretending to care about black people, even though they barely know any outside of college or work, espousing open border anarchy etc, all to bathe in the positive feedback they get from likeminded people.

For some it's just a sad desperate need to be liked, but some are deviously clever and have worked out that rather than be patriotic, it suffices and works for them to always be on the side that gives the line away.
