What's your worst habit as a bedmate?

Because it's about time we had a useless nosy trivia thread

Mine is that I can't keep my feet off the other person until I fall asleep. It's like a comfort thing, where I have to reach out with my feet to feel that the other person is there.

If I'm stressed my feet end up rasping up and down the other person's legs.

Once I'm sleeping I stop, though

I toss and turn. I have only spent one night with one woman though, and she was tossing and turning too so I guess she didn't notice it in me :D

Insufficient data. I've slept alone all of my life. Save on very rare occasions.

I'm rather greedy. Voraciously so. Not sure if that's a bad habit or a good one, though.

I snore - loudly.

I can't stay still for more than about ten minutes because of my medical condition.

I SLEEP alone. Other things? My bed or yours?

Bed Mate? What is that? It's been so long I forgot.
Geez! Let's see, how about calling your bedmate by the wrong name?
Of course I've never done it, but it would be bad.
DG :)

It only takes one occasion for people to complain to me, so if you've had no complaints so far you must be a very nice bedmate :rose:
Those times I haven't slept alone we've usually been too exhausted to notice anything once we did fall asleep.

I'm adding a very close female friend of mine to the list.

She spoons with me and farts so powerfully that it's like the kick of a shotgun. Even though all the gas is shooting in the opposite direction I feel her stomach slam into the small of my back with such force that it wakes me

Insomnia.

I can almost never fall asleep when normal people do. A normal weekday I sleep from approx. 5 am to 11 am. Nothing short of heavy medication (or not sleeping at all the night before) can make me shut down around midnight.

first of all, I take no less than 15 minutes to get comfortable. It's not a habit, it's just my fidgetty nature.

Also, I must have my own sheet and blanket, because, well, I sleep naked and I use the sheet on the sweatier areas, but no where else. and then I wrap up in the blanket. If I'm sharing these items with someone, they will wind up with none of it or very little, so I have to have my own.

Also, I typically do the feet thing too. And usually, my feet are giant ice cubes (sorry honey!)

I have to touch my bedmate, actually I'm happiest and can go to sleep fastest if my H lays half on me..... very strange hum?

That's rather disturbing...

Though I guess I can't say muc, before some really big event, (flying, meeting his parents) I get absolutely horrible gas.

I have been sharing the bed with my mother for a few weeks now, and this last time before a flight, the same thing happened. And mom asked me if the ferret had pooped in the bed. I sheepishly replied... no.. that was me. Sorry.

Today, we manageed to save up the money to go buy me my own bed

ROFLOL - ;)

Okay, I'm game. I cannot STAND my feet covered when I sleep, so I end up pushing most covers to my partner's side, who always wakes up sweating from the waist down.

Instantly falling asleep

I've been demoted to the spare room whilst my snoring roared, now, with my sleep anopea mask and pump I'm demoted to the spare room because a) I look scary; and b) the air rasping from the mask is disturbing. Mornings are great ;)

ROTFLOL!!! LOL

i need space, i guess. i like to sleep kind of rolled up, and with my ass kind of pushed out, which is okay when it's a big bed, but a problem when sharing my one-person-bed. occasionally i take the whole blanket for myself (i like having the blanket, or a pillow or something similar between my legs when i sleep). also, i often like to be very close to the other person, which for some people is a problem, especially in summer.

I'm a cover thief.

My guy and I have resolved this by buying two matching twin duvets, instead of one queen-sized duvet. We overlap them for the snuggly pre-sleep period, but I can twist myself up in mine in my sleep without leaving him out in the cold.
