What's your take on the various types of incest?

The excuse I heard from a minister in my old man's church was that back then people needed to ensure the population grew and continued, so when there weren't a lot of people around close by...but today we have plenty of non-familial options.

Sort of makes sense in a way, but mostly justifying crap.

I always love how many of the faithful really try to pretend the sketchy god of the Old Testament didn't exist.

OT-God killed every first born son-including many infants-in Egypt....because you know, the all mighty had no other way to get Moses out of there.

As long as its consensual and the people involved are old enough to understand what they're consenting to who cares?

Issue is, all we hear about are the cases of abuse so that's what its associated with.

I had a follower request a story where a daughter helps her father find his inner woman and the relationship turns to incest.
I've written brother/sister, have some father/son and mother/son in one of my 750 word stories, but can't seem to come to grips with father/daughter. It just seems a bridge too far. I know it's just me, but maybe not. I was wondering how others felt.

Is there a taboo too far in that world?

Brother/sister I can understand and enjoy reading and writing, also step-siblings. I wrote an uncle/niece story but kept them close in age. The thought of sex with either of my parents makes me shudder.

The first incest stories I discovered were sibling, and mother son scenarios. But I've never had to contend with any mental obstacles for the subject matter likely because it is too far removed from my own circumstances. I do not have siblings nor do I have children and my own mother has been out of the picture for a long time.



Despite the holes in my family tree, I am still extremely aroused by these scenarios and it is one of my favorite kinds of erotica to read. I've always found it interesting that something so untethered from the reality that I find myself in could somehow still be pushing my buttons so effectively.



As such I always have treated it as a stimulating theme for stories and fantasies, but a fiction nonetheless and so I've never had to contend with any troubling mental obstacles. Lucky

The stories I read would generally be considered fairly conventional if it weren't for the incest angle. If it takes a turn toward group sex, gay sex, or a few other categories, I'm usually out. I'm also not into it when the stories get a little too romantic. I think it's the element of danger that appeals to me. I'm not interested in stories where they move someplace where no one knows them and tell everyone they are married. I'm not bothered by those stories, though, they just don't interest me.

The one thing that I do find off putting is the pregnancy stories. I try not to be too judgemental, since most people would be a bit disgusted at the things I've read (for some reason I think people are more disgusted by written smut that goes into these areas as opposed to video porn - maybe because watching porn is a lot more commonplace than reading it, I don't know). I don't think the chances of having mutant offspring is astronomically high unless people are doing it for multiple generations (some of the Hapsburgs of Spain were genetically closer than a normal brother and sister because of the repeated inbreeding that went on in that royal family). Still, it strikes me as a bad idea, LOL. How is that a turn on, fathering your own half sibling or whatever. Or maybe it's a romantic thing? That's the one thing I have a tough time with.

I draw the line on pregnancy as well, especially in the mother/son dynamic where I get a lot of "he needs to get her pregnant' comments.

It makes more sense with siblings who have taken the path of wanting to spend their life together and are young and would like to have children, but still a no go for me.

To the point that when I wrote my long brother sister series on here, I had it stated the brother-because of the insanity that ran on the father's side, and his own issues with hearing voices and violence-had a vasectomy at 18 therefore taking away any thought even from the readers of them having kids.

I did get some "They should adopt" comments, but I can live with those.

I suppose it's seen as the ultimate taboo in an already taboo genre, but the idea of it disturbs me so I stay clear of it.

My siblings and i were abused by related people as children. Not in a fun happy la la story fashion. I hate the category. As a result of the abuse some of us became abusers as well. But... I get it. Pregnancy is generally a "no" for me in incest stories, although I did include it in my most absurd mother-son story, "Mom, You're A Hucow." It worked for me in that story because the story was so ridiculous that it couldn't be taken seriously. I wanted that story to be about as over-the-top as it could get, and throwing in pregnancy in the end pushed it that much farther over the line.

That’s really interesting, actually. I always thought that people who root for characters getting pregnant are mostly after the impregnation itself, to enhance an already hot and taboo sex scene.

But adoption obviously precludes that, so it makes me somewhat confused.

I think those comments were based on the fact both the brother and sister had a traumatic childhood and bounced around the system before being reunited in a good home. They both went through hell before getting their shit together as adults so when they became a couple in their thirties some readers thought it was a good idea if they adopted a child who had a similar background to give them the chance they eventually received.

Its a believable concept in that I had that type of childhood and after my daughters were older I signed up for the big brother and mentoring programs to try and spend some time with kids who needed the role model I desperately needed as a kid.

This is an interesting thread and has definitely made me feel...like a pervert. Lol. Apparently, according to so many of yall, the easier to come to grips with and find fun and hot incestuous fun are the ones I tend to find kind of meh. I like those on the other end of the spectrum, the Daddy or even Uncle. The power dynamics are a real part of that, sure, and I can see where some see it as "abuse" over how people view it with Mom/son. But, idk, finding an excellently written story where the father just can't help himself, I find it extremely erotic. Again, I can see plainly I'm in the minority here, but it is interesting to see regardless.

I will say, I found a lot of people's points, even if my views sexually didn't necessarily align, to be quite interesting and insightful.
