My mum got this mp3 player for her birthday and she wants me to find some Pavarotti for her. It's not a proper Ipod, it's Samsung. I'd hoped the book would have a list of websites where you can download content but there's nothing. Does Ipod have something like that? Is there an official site for content? If not what are some good ones? I've searched but the ones I've looked at are bullshit. It says download here but it won't actually let you. Or there's just a bunch of adds or something.

I'm willing to pay as long as it's a legit site and I'm not going to get ripped off. So if someone has some experience with this let me know and I'll make it worth your while. I'll give you a nice belly rub or something.

Thank you very much indeed.

Sorry Human. I refuse to buy on the web. I only purchase from a small shop several miles from here and upload them to my player.

How ya been, cutie? :p :p

You might try Rhapsody. I think songs are $1 on there and I've never had any trouble with them. I'm not sure about how you sync the songs to a Samsung, but you should be able to do it with Media Player or whatever you have.

It's not a download, but if you or she already have CDs of Pavarotti, you can rip them into .mp3 format to put on her player. Be careful on iTunes, a lot of their music is in .aac format. You can convert it to .mp3 but it takes a bit more work.

For classical music, I would recommend at least 256 kps encoding and DRM free tracks. Amazon looks like the best bet if you are in the US.

Personally I'm too proud to pay for it. But I don't condemn people who do.

emusic, although it doesn't stock anything by the majors (that's fine I don't want anything they do anyway)

Hi, not bad thanks. Howz you?

I didn't even know you could buy them in shops.

I found the pros I met were uniformly interesting. They lost patience a bit when i wasn't going to pay for it, but the sketches were good enough to keep them talking for a couple of hours.

Oh.

Music.

Never mind

How would you do that?

Thanks.

All sorts of programs will do it. Personally, I use dBpoweramp Music Coverter. available at http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm. It's a free program that will rip a CD into just about every audio format that is out there. It searches an online database for metatags, shows you the possibilities that it finds and allows you to choose the correct one. Metatags become very important if you put a lot of music on a player because the tags control the organization.

If you rip to .mp3, I would recommend choosing VBR and a rate of 256kps for classical.
