Whats with the popups ??

Is it only me or is anyone else getting popups when logging in to Lit

Got one this morning - some naked chick wanting to know if I wanted a 10" dick ( she had quite nice tits )

Has Lit changed its policy on popup advertising ?

At least it was quick to load and quick to get zapped - it didnt reload when you closed it.

It wassnt a huge deal - but I suppose thin edge of the wedge

They will be selling our emails addys next - bet you !!

Sounds like spyware, I don't get popups anymore.. I used to before I downloaded Ad-aware and Bazooka.

Just logged on again to be sure and i got another one for some porn site


checked the small print and it said that the advert was not related to the site I was visiting - so it isnt from Lit - but it only loads so far when I go to lit , not to any other site !!

So any views on how to get rid of the spyware

Every few weeks this same question pops up. I do wish people would pay attention to this issue so we don't have to have the exact same conversation all the time.

Anyway I tracked down my little gremlin - it came from old Bill Gates himself.

I down loaded www.hotbar.com the other day - it wasnt that great - gave you emoticons and smilies on your email - but it also surprise surprise tracked your net usage and sent you adverts accordingly

Anyway Hotbar has now ben ejected and all at peace with the world again.

I actually got ad-ware which gave my puter a nice going over. I had 153 seperate liile buggers that were checking me out and then sending the info to God knows who.

They are now history

and to think I trusted Microsoft

Though it is funny - when you first get an automatic download it says tick if you trust any product from Microsoft in the future

Damn I need pop ups, like this. All I get is ads for drugs, insurance and online gambling.
