What's The Problem?????????????

In that case - Ill ask one too.

Why??
Why would the OP ask a question like this without including content? Probably thought asking on the discussion board was talking directly to whoever rejected the story. The OP has been on board less than a month. It's reasonable for a newcomer to assume that the story side and the discussion board side are linked by common monitoring (although they aren't here).

Lol sorry keith you missed the joke - i wasnt asking anything about the poster - i was just asking without any context at all ..... Why?

It just shows what has been discussed over and over - that given the number of stories posted each day, and the assumption that Laurel is still the only one vetting them (with or without assistance from pattern matching software) It's not physically possible for them all to be read individually.
My Guess - and it is just that, is that stories that dont flag up on the software as having issues are immediately passed.
Those that do - are either read or rejected - that decision is probably based on a number of issues such as how many there are - and previous history with the author.
The author then has the option to resubmit with either a correction and/or a comment - which is then read - and a decision made.

Like i said - that is just a guess - but it seems logical (at least to me) given my experiences here.
I know that Laurel personally read my first 2 stories.
I was personally corresponding with her about mistakes and errors.
I think that she just uses the first couple of stories to get to know the author and then just "green lights" anything afterwards.

It's not a state secret that I'm very liberal on spelling mistakes and grammar errors.
I don't really hold them against the authors because shit gets through the cracks.
I use Microsoft Editor and have my wife and neighbor read my stories before posting, and we still miss things. LOL.

This particular story was just flat out FRAKKING RIDICULOUS with the spelling and grammar.
I legit couldn't even finish.
I left a comment for him/her, telling him/her why I gave them a 1 star and not to give up, since shit happens.
