I missed that he came back and tried to correct his mistake, this time by beginning the sequence with Rob first, then the alt.


Here was how he prepared:

He gets home from work, spends a full hour on lit, studiously avoiding this particular thread. He takes a deep breath and begins his "repair."

6:04 He checks into this thread all casual like. Does not mount a "defense."

6:06 He just "happens" to go over to the Cuke the alt's thread and makes post.

6:07 He logs out, logs in as Cuke and posts immediately after "himself."

6:11 Avoiding the previous mistake of going strait back to "Rob" he makes another random post in a thread I have posted in.

6:12 Showing his new quick-change prowess, he slams it back into drive with "Rob" back in this thread to show he has simply been here all along...Again, does not mount a "defense"...probably whistled tunelessly to "act casual" whilst doing so.

6:18 Goes back to the Cuke thread as Cuke to show that both posters are unique from each other..."See look! At no time do my fingers leave my hands."

He then spends 46 minutes digging for quotes where the "Rob doesn't have alts, he doesn't need them he is such an asshole!" discussion has previously taken place to put what he thinks is the final nail in the "Rob doesn't need to do it" defense.

7:04 Checks back into the thread mounts what he seems to think is a vigorous defense. Nothing new, just his, "I am such an asshole, I cannot possibly also be a bigger asshole!" defense.

Waits ten minutes in the thread to see how that goes over.

7:14 makes another post in the thread as if there is no ongoing controversy at all...~whistles some more~ *hopes*

I post my "refudiation" of the premise of his defense.

7:32 He responds not at all to that. ~whistles tunelessly~


Notice he responded not at all to the curious timing of the alt to him to the alt switch previously. Not even, "My that is a remarkable coincidence!" I am guessing he wont have a lot of comment on this forensic accounting of his time-card, either.

Well, all I can say is that he improved his time switching between alts from 3 minutes then to 2 minutes and now to 1 minute.

Maybe tomorrow he will figure out how to post at the same time.

Step one: Log into Lit on two browsers.

Step two: Type up what you want to say on both.

Step three: Submit...submit.

That is...if Alts actually existed...which they don't.

Like the Golden Corral Buffet, I suspect that by now he is already regretting ingesting it. For sure by morning he will. This is a man that engages in decade length feuds. He doesn't sleep tonight plotting how he will be ever so much more clever tomorrow.

I actually put a lot more effort into counter-trolling Slinger than engaging in troll-forensics-and-defense with Rob.

Slinger is not actual a psychopath so his behavior could and was encouraged in a more interesting direction.

Rob, it is a waste. He is who he is and no different than I assessed the first 2-3 posts of his I encountered.

But I will be damned if that weak-ass trolling of Rob's will find a single, gullible believer.

He wants to make this "you framed me" frame stick he is going to have to fucking earn it.

His is like BBS era trolling. He really does seldom work with alts. Usually only when someone has gotten tick-deep under his scrotum.

It is an interesting pickle he puts himself in for his "no alts" claim. There is one that is actually funny. It may or may not be him but the authors voice is similar enough that I would not be surprised if it was him.

For a while when I was trying some positive encouragement, (I realize that is fruitless with borderline personality disorder types) I said in a thread to that alt, "More of this Rob, less of the others." No comment from the alt or Rob. I kind of wish it had been him.

One could even use one's phone if one were so inclined or a second device of any sort with a browser.

Considering he is in an IT field, you would think he has a smart phone and a tablet, no?

Be interesting to see the Internet logs at his work. Oh, that's right, he is the guy that sees them.

I wonder if that is common. Kind of 'The cobbler has no shoes." A lot of employers forbid devices for security and productivity reasons but people sneak or check them on breaks or whatever. An IT guy with no one over his shoulder does what he wants at work, the rest can wait till he gets home.

I still maintain his biggest hurdle is not technological, it is creative. He has a persona, he is set in his ways. On any given day over 80% of his posts are re-hash of his same old insults. He could never heckle a comic on stand-up night twice. He isn't a writer with a writer's ear for dialog and authors voice.

This puts you in the boat right along with him. He's the priest, proselytizing that the GB is life, the "cred" is the hierarchy, and where he puts you, you shall stay. And like a fool, you pay his tithe. You buy into this shit religion by sitting in his pews. Not only that, he's turned you into a missionary. You've become just as unsavory to talk to as he is. Pretty soon you'll be like fucking miles, where every time anybody says anything against Rob, he pokes his little head in and injects Rob into the conversation and all the awful shit he did, "once upon a GB".

I would gather that for some people they would want an alt to create more of an expression about themselves whether true or a fantasy? Very creative but seems to me to be more on the extreme side.

It doesn't work that way. I think most of what you claim is dead assed wrong, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. You look like a parody.

A troll is like a psycho stalker girlfriend who thinks your brake lights are a secret signal which means you want her to hide in your closet. There is no response so witty or insult so vile, it will affect their behavior. All they want is a response, and acknowledgement that they have penetrated your brain.

Indifference is the only effective weapon.
