ok... be honest... what's in your refrigerator RIGHT NOW?

Leftovers from tonight's dinner (spaghetti)

A bowl of chili from about 2 months ago.

Grapefruit segments

Orange Koolaid

Tortillas

A produce drawer full of science experiments. I keep putting off cleaning it out.

Two different kinds of pickles.

A case of bottled water.

Leftover lemon chicken from tonight's dinner.

Protein drinks.

Several bottles of wine that will probably never be opened.

Margarita mix.

Sour mix.

Grape Propel.

A head of lettuce that should be tossed out.

A small tub of margarine.

Apple dippers from McDonalds.

Sugar-free boysenberry preserves.

A can of mandarin oranges.

A can of pineapple.

i had to laugh at this... when i read it, i pronounced it in my head as "PRAH-puhl" (accented like "purple") instead of "pro-PEL" (as it's supposed to be).

i'm like, what's "PRAH-puhl"??? :D

Take care of the gloves though.

Okay, i didn't realize you wanted a complete inventory.

Turkey and ham from the deli

Swiss, American, and cream cheese

2 pears

3 apples

Leftover taco meat

1 1/2 lbs. stew meat for tomorrow

18 eggs

Butter

1 gallon of skim milk

Various condiments

a half bottle of red wine that's been in there for a while--how long does that stuff stay drinkable, anyway?

of course we do! :D how else are we supposed to build a psychological profile of you if we don't have the WHOLE scoop?

next week we'll inventory the freezer. ;)

My question too. Enquiring minds want to know EJ?

*I have no problem with 4 dozen oranges*

Edited to add: we're supposed to have 'stuff' in our fridge? Who's home to eat? Badly in need of going shopping. I think this is close though.

skim milk
Diet pepsi
Soda water
Light Mango juice
V8
Water
regular ginger ale

fresh pineapple
can of pineapple
spinach
carrots
oranges
limes

eggs
cheese
margarine

condiments

Now EJ if you want to ask about freezers...mine's full :D

With two teenaged boys in the house, I couldn't possibly find the time to inventory the contents of both refrigerators. Suffice it to say that if this were a multiple choice question, my answer would be "all of the above."

i don't make anything with them... just eggs. depending on various things i have 2-5 every morning, sometimes with all the yolks, sometimes with only a couple of yolks. the 6 dozen i got monday should be gone in a couple of weeks.

sometimes i bake on saturday morning, so some eggs go into cake product from time to time.

lol... i understand... but one could interpret this to mean that you don't think this thread is important enough to put down everything you're working on and do the inventory. :D

Hmmm....

Bread, eggs, milk, cheese, assorted cold cuts, OJ, Nestea Ice Tea, butter, lemon juice, lime juice, soy sauce, oyster sauce, ketchup, barbecue sauce, chocolate chips for baking, granny smith apples, oranges, potatoes, onions, carrots, canteloupe.

Should I do the freezer section too?

Milk, water, ketchup, mustard, cheese, jelly, bbq sauce, left-over pasta, spaghetti sauce, lemon juice, lime juice, and something that looks like some sort of science experiment.

I did just take a short break to do a quick count. On just one of the five shelves in our main refrigerator there are 14 different kinds of containers of food items. To document everything in both fridges and both freezers would take as long as it would take to earn the money to replenish the larder for next week.

lol... it seems like there's a lot of this going around. :D

i'm just wondering... two posters have said they have potatoes in their fridge... what's up with that? i've never done this. i just use a brown paper bag in the pantry.

same question for the canned tuna and canned fruit. really?

awwww... and the potatoes can look out too :)
