*sigh* Why is whenever I tell people the meaning of my middle name they think Xena? FYI Xena means 'welcoming, hospitable'. My middle name is Louise.

In babies books my real name used to mean 'snake' but thats changed in teh past 20 yrs or so, it now means 'Spanish for pretty' but its not a Spanish word and I bet the Spanish don't know that my name means that

Yes it is. A spanish word that is. Type in pretty in a translation thing and you'll get your name.

I have a strange translator.

It came up with 'bonito' not 'shy' or 'slut'

My danish is improving though, I can now say 'I am a slut' in Danish.

Very useful

Because we are being silly and culturally conditioned from several seasons of Lucy Lawless as "Xena, Warrior Princess"... Sort of like the first thing that pops into my mind when I hear "Magnum" is P.I....

And speaking of cultural conditioning, I don't care what anyone says, a Magnum is a dayum station wagon. Dodge put a Hemi in them so guys would buy them, or at least drive them if the SO bought it.

(Little known not-so-secret: SUV = Station Wagon on stilts. My first car was a 1963 Rambler Station Wagon. A Jeep Grand Cherokee is the same damn ride with a lift kit and 4 wheel drive... SHEESH! It's STILL a freaking STATION WAGON!)
