Off to a small Australian run pub that does a giant Chicken Parmigiana on top of a massive load of chips. True Aussie pub food I am told, with a pint in the package price.

Leftover bean with bacon soup, brown rice and chocolate chip brownies. I might also make a salad. Gardener didn't get home until almost 5 am so he didn't eat. Not here anyway. He's getting that. Not sure what I'll have. I do have a cheese ball. Maybe that and celery and crackers. I sure didn't go all out this year on New Year's food.

I did steak filets on the grill tonight and at risk of sounding immodest, they came out right on. Did charcoal grill and mesquite chips... no problem with any kind of rain!!!

I made some chicken fried steak the other day; I hadn't had it in years. Turned out pretty well, but my breading needs work.
