What's Cookin'?

Today I made kimbap/gimbap. Basically Korean sushi. I posted a pic in the tea room. I had leftover bulgogi and used it instead of hamburger. Also I ran out of spinach. Cook 3x’s as much as you think you need. Yummy!

Very nice, I love Japanese sushi so I immediately was intrigued.
I have been to Italy on a number of occasions and on a couple of visits was shown around by my Italian colleagues. The food was so delicious and people are usually very friendly. So yeah, pizza! :love:
 
I’m going to try Johnny D Francesco’s recipe. He’s on Vincenzo’s plate yt channel. The most important change is to use way less yeast. Johnny uses fresh, which I can’t get, but I’m excited to see how this turns out. He was a pizza champion so I trust his crust is good. Not tonight, likely the middle of the week.
 
Breakfast in a few hours .. Need something good?? breakfast casserole? waffles? Or just eggs, toast and coffee... boring
 
Tonight I did homemade garlic-parmesan alfredo sauce over some frozen cheese ravioli with peas & carrots.
 
I made a cold Italian pasta salad with pepperoni the other day. Buying a 2 pack of pepperoni from Costco is like challenging the pepperoni gods to see who will give up first. It’s never ending. I bought a pillsbury pizza dough because I’m still planning (procrastinating) on making the homemade pizza dough. Don’t, that crust is really gross and is not a pizza texture. The salad was good, the pizza was bad and the first bag of pepperoni still isn’t empty.
 
Well...pork roast that i pulled for bbq sandwich with potatos and sweet corn, saturday marinated chicken with itianal dressing on the grill, and sunday egg bake for 100 people...yes i cook and please women sexually with my tongue..one better than the other...i think...

The pasta salad sounds awesome. Use to make home made pizza, but they changed something in the dough and the texture and flavor changed. Fish tonight, take family or tomorrow night, Monday planning on beef pasta with green beans carrots, and flaky biscuits, I hope.
 
Today we are having homemade pizza! Kids love it and what's not to like? Cheese, ham, passata di pommodori, mozzarella and pesto! Yay :)
 
Yeah, always do make my own dough. I used standard flour, sunflower oil, full fat milk, salt, sugar and yeast.
Never heard of Pillsbury, is that a type of flour?
People don’t realize how easy bread is to make. Some just takes a bit of time

It’s a brand name here. Nothing special about them.
