What is the wavy white stuff?

Cream cheese.
Smoked ham and scallion, finely chopped within that border, egg on top and then mozarella on top of that.

I have tried both matcha and rose (eating, not making) and both were great.

These are all flavors I like. I’ve tried a lot of different flavors. I have dried lavender for cooking so I may just stick with that. I am looking for dried roses (or powder) and I may also invest in sakura powder. I’m excited for springy florals!

I’ve never tried lavender with sweets.
I do make a recipe for lavender chicken though, that is very popular here.
I mean, not that anything cooked with garlic in cream and covered with melted cheese could ever be bad .

I have many talents. Cake decorating is not one.
There was cake at a gathering yesterday and I was the only one to decline after a sneezing incident (not fun ) I still wanted some today so I meant to simply purchase a slice of cake but left with my groceries and completely forgot to stop and get some. I baked a carrot cake to compensate.

I didn’t cook. I’ve been cooking and cooking.
I got chicken parm, no bread, and a side salad at my local pizza place. I can bring half of it for lunch tomorrow, including the side salad, which is biggern my head.

So much for a "side salad" eh? lol

Lunch was open sandwich with toasted levain, caramelized onion, red veined sorrel, apple and chicken liver.

Dinner will be pork chops, fennel, apple and cavolo nero.
