What's cookin', good lookin'? Part II

I have tried both matcha and rose (eating, not making) and both were great.
These are all flavors I like. I’ve tried a lot of different flavors. :) I have dried lavender for cooking so I may just stick with that. I am looking for dried roses (or powder) and I may also invest in sakura powder. I’m excited for springy florals!

I’ve never tried lavender with sweets.
I do make a recipe for lavender chicken though, that is very popular here.
I mean, not that anything cooked with garlic in cream and covered with melted cheese could ever be bad 😁.
 
I have many talents. Cake decorating is not one. 😅
There was cake at a gathering yesterday and I was the only one to decline after a sneezing incident (not fun 🥲) I still wanted some today so I meant to simply purchase a slice of cake but left with my groceries and completely forgot to stop and get some. I baked a carrot cake to compensate.

 
Lunch was open sandwich with toasted levain, caramelized onion, red veined sorrel, apple and chicken liver.

Dinner will be pork chops, fennel, apple and cavolo nero.

Very meaty today.
 
Tasty oatmeal this morning, made the old school way. I added some peanut butter, some blueberries and cut up some apple.
