What's cookin', good lookin'? Part II

I'm still thinking about it. I don't know whether I want pasta, pizza or sausage with sauteed vegetables.

Wasabi salmon, rice and a salad made with iceberg lettuce, cucumber and lemon dressing.

With what? How? They are so cute.

ahahahah "they are so cute" lol

I eat figs like they are. How do you want to eat them?
You could eat them with some good cheese. Pecorino for example or burrata.

Check this out and you will get an idea. It's in Italian but use google translation.

Nasu no dengaku - eggplant with miso glaze.
Cabbage salad dressed with sesame oil and salt. Sesame oil and salt is so simple and tastes amazing.
The usual rice and miso soup. Probably some natto or pickles for a little extra.

I have kyoho grapes for dessert. They’re huge and really sweet and juicy. I found them as a sale item and decided to try them because I read they are meant to be peeled before eating and that’s something I’ve never had before. They taste like Concord grape jelly in the form of a lychee. Very yummy.

I only cook rare.

I second this!

I recently saw prosciutto wrapped figs stuffed with a soft cheese

I’ve had that a few times. It’s nice at buffets or as starters with a drink.
Still like them more just as they are when they are fresh.
Not so patiently waiting for our fig tree to grow.

Yesterday’s leftover veggies turned into a pasta with some extra peas added. Worked really well and took very little effort to get the lunch together.

I made pumpkin and red lentil curry soup type thing for dinner yesterday and it was really good. :)

Trying to decide what to have today.
