What's cookin', good lookin'? Part II

Pike with lime, salt and pepper dipping sauce and coriander rice, carrot, bell pepper and sugar snaps.

AKA "let's use up all the little bits and bops in the veggie compartment and eat them with fish"

Spaghetti carbonara, probably the best version I’ve ever made and it’s thanks to a great teacher.

Pork loin, black trumpet and yellowfoot mushrooms, carrot, kale, mashed potatoes, peppercorn sauce.

Per Dr. Orders to ease up on red meat, I made my first chicken chili today.

It turned out surprisingly quite good.

Just a quick sandwich with mortadella tonight. I was feeling too tired and lazy to cook anything.

Kale and chickpea soup for dinner. I heard it was cinnamon bun day and somehow every year I don’t know until it’s “that day” so instead of cinnamon buns I made a cinnamon bun bread cake thing and it satisfied me.

hallo Ana:) dem würmchen in mir und auch mir geht's gut :rose: danke für das posting :rose: liebe grüße zurück

Das freut mich sehr 😘

Maybe there is such a thing as a chilli chocolate icecream that you could have with pickled gherkins 😂😂😂

I bought fresh aubergines and courgettes for ratatouille that I will make tomorrow 🥰

Aubergines I knew...had to look up courgettes. Thanks!

Soup with yellowfoot mushrooms, porcini, zucchini and leek. Beetroot bread rolls and a spread made with roasted carrots, garlic and toasted sunflower seeds.

Risotto with porcini and a glass of red wine.
Some of the best wine I've had in years really. Just delicious.

Roasted turkey on the smoker stuffed with bread and potato stuffing, scratch made gravy, turnips, corn, sour cream and cream cheese potatoes, cranberry sauce (home made), fresh biscuits, a nice dry Prosecco and pumpkin pie. (Thanksgiving up here this weekend). I did the meal (family tradition)

And, despite what some think, the turkey requires constant observation through the closed lid of the smoker, which also requires a certain amount of beer...

Why did I open this thread when hungry?
It all sounds soo good!
We are having Bratwurst with Sauerkraut later. I’ll have an orange for now.

I'm hungry for risotto but its 11pm here. Sigh.

Maybe tomorrow if I don't have fight the battle of the ants again. Its been raining so much, they're invading the house for like the 4th time this year. Why do I pay for pest service?????
