What's cookin', good lookin'? Part II

Couscous with dried cranberries, pine nuts, diced cooked ham, a glug of olive oil, chopped fresh mint and coriander.

Simmered cod, spinach ohitashi, bean sprout salad, and mixed vegetable miso soup. Rice with kimchi and/or natto.

I don’t recommend cod as it’s too flaky for this method of cooking, but it still tastes quite good.

Your cooking always sounds so tasty. :)

I finally found more than three mushrooms! It’s been an abysmal mushroom year.

So, I’m having chanterelle risotto, because I’m in the mood for something creamy and hearty after getting soaked in the forest. And always in the mood for some mushies. (Or Muschi. Whaaaa???)

Thanks, I try to make a variety and I’m super into “eating the rainbow” as a basis for what I cook. Though the meals where everything is brown and not colorful tend to be the tastiest. :D

Those mushrooms look so good! I just learned chanterelles can be foraged here. I’m definitely not going to forage but a girl can dream. Risotto sounds like an amazing comfort right now.

A little French owned place. It was delish.

There was a French restaurant 100 mt from my house in Rome.
I used to go there every other weekend. Became friend with the owner too.

My regular menu:
Oysters
escargot
cheese fondue
Steak tartare
cioccolate cake

Yummy. Now I am hungry, again.:D
