Please do let us all know if you have any luck with Adult FriendFinder... We've had ads on there before but never paid to join and never got any responses to our ads.

Not sure if it's still set up that way, but you used to be able to write to people with a free account, you were just limited to looking at 3 ads per day... We rarely got any response from the people we tried writing to, which is why we never paid to join.

We've had more luck with lavalife.com (formerly webpersonals) as far as meeting people... It's good because it doesn't cost anything to set up an ad, it only costs if you want to start a chat session or email someone on the system. You can set up your ad, browse around to see if you can find local ads that look interesting (and don't look fake), then decide whether you want to buy a few credits to write to people, and in the meantime it's still possible you could receive replies to your own ad.

It's not a perfect system, but it seemed to work much better than FriendFinder, and there's no monthly fee to join, you only pay for the credits you use to contact others. Email us (landm_toronto@yahoo.ca) if you want more info!

The other thing we've done is found one or two local couples' clubs in Toronto that allow you to post free personals ads... You're much more likely to meet couples than single women that way, but if it's free it couldn't hurt!
