What would you say?

As none of us are like men in books, I'd suggest you come up with some conversation. I suspect most of us are like me...terrified that you will know just how insecure we are.

Well damn, are you saying men would actually want conversation in that scenario?

I'd be hopiong she wouldn't sigh and say something like..."I was expecting so much more after having your brother last night."

i love linda howard... all of the men in her stories have that delicious combo of alpha male/sensitive man...

whats the title of the book KM?

Yes, I'd love to know, too...I have many of her books, but I like her suspense novels best.

Well, something verbal can be encouraging. And if you can avoid things like "Beige...I think I'll paint the ceiling beige" that might help.

Oh my god, and Don't stop are the only two things i could reasonably be expected to say.

For those of you wondering, the name of the novella is "White Out". It was originally released in a Christmas anthology at least 5 years ago. It's been re-released with 2 other Linda Howard novellas with the title Strangers In the Night.

Having never produced that reaction, I guess I'd find that encouraging.
