of the last book you purchased?

I don't mean the book you last read or the book you borrowed from the library.

I am talking about the book that has become part of your library.

When I buy a new book, fiction or non fiction, it is a race home to delve into it.

Sometimes the book I purchase was not on my mental list of "must haves." The books that jump off the shelf into your hands are often the best books and certainly, are to be touted as "great finds."

So, what book ?

Oxford World Encyclopedia

I puchased one for my nephew for Christmas, and just bought one for family too. Very useful.

Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary

Here's hoping I need to use it soon!

I can't remember the very last one I bought. It is either Uther by Jack Whyte, or The Deadhouse by Linda Fairstein.

Winnie the Pooh, The Complete Collection of Stories and Poems... my four year old has a love affair going on with Winnie the Pooh...

The Complete and Annotated Works of William Shakespeare

My first copy was my father's from college and the pages have become brittle of age. So I needed a new one.

Maybe it's nostalgia, but I've got that book too. Our Daughter never get's tired of Pooh either. :)

having a love affair with Winnie the Pooh made me feel all warm and cozy inside, too, Morgy.

Hmmmm

hard ass?

Isn't that lobito's cue? :D

I can't even try playing the hard ass. I am far better at playing a dumbass !

:p

Really?!

I think that miss underestimates herself about playing a "hard ass." Some of her postings . . . certainly don't make her out to be a "dumbass!"

I thought it was TOO obvious, so I didn't say anything, but at least I'm not the only one who caught it. ;)

I suppose it doesnt' matter.

Hardass? Dumbass? Horse's ass?

Your ass is grass?

My ass is in a sling?

Someone told me recently, "You're ass is mine."

Ass Ass Ass Ass

Anyway you look at it, I have a great ass.

:p
