Yes, it's about the package. It always is. And yes, that keeps some people from getting to know us, keeps them from realizing we're wonderful people... but really, so what?

If he thought that a big nose was a physical flaw, or green eyes, or curly brown hair, or any number of things, there wouldn't be a thread about it. We'd all think "well, he's kind of shallow" and we'd move on.

Personally, I don't care if someone finds me less attractive because I could stand to lose a few pounds. Ya know what? I consider my not so flat tummy a physical flaw, so why should I get pissed if someone else thinks so too?

Yes, people could choose their words better, and there's a thread where that's explained to this guy. But honestly, who's business is it what type of body this guy's attracted to? Is he a bad person because he prefers a certain body type? I really doubt it.

Let me first say that some people would see J-Lo's but as a physhical flaw, i see it as heaven. So its a matter of opinion

yes its all about the package. You are fooling yourself if you say its not. But what a person wants in a package if different. You might not fit one guys package but be perfect for another.

What about the mental and emotional package that women want? Is the relationship always about that? What if the guy cant make you laugh or you have nothing in commen with him? You wouldnt date him would you? Or what if he had a bad temper and was always cursing? Would that be a mental flaw?

it must be understood that people often DO have physical flaws. I do! I mean, I'm overweight, have this annoying mole above my lip, my ass is big, I have chubby hands, whatever. However, if someone can see through the things that you don't like about yourself and love you, it's a great thing.

I DO understand the point of this thread, though.. it's like.. "I love you DESPITE all those things".. I HATE that word.. despite.. or, it's like saying "you're not that fat" THAT.. what the hell is with THAT? Or "you're not THAT old"... geez. Men.
