What puzzles me is the hate

Yes, dislike of her and of her illegal actions. The anti-Hillary chanting, etc. is not as bad as the hate for Trump expressed on this forum. Just look around you.

Well, there's Rachel Mad Dog and Keith Overbearing, to name two.

The commentator you mention do not spew hate, but they do sometimes express disagreement.

You're seriously comparing posts on an erotica forum to mass political rallies?
Your can't even refer to Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann without resorting to childish name calling, can you? You display the intellectual maturity of a petulant child, and undercut your own argument at the same time. And here's Ann Coulter talking about her "hot hate of a thousand Suns" for Carly Fiorina, a Republican!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTT8UeIYoDo

And here's her infamous "how many fucking Jews?" comment...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wC3X6fO6y9Y

And there many others like these in addition to this, and don't get me started on Rush Limbaugh and Alex Jones. Now go ahead and find a comparable clip from Rachel "Mad Dog" Maddow or any other mainstream media liberal. Go ahead...

This specific forum isn't really erotica. As the name says, this particular forum of Literotica is called "The Politics Board."

Speaking of name calling, what is the usual reference here to the current president of the United States?

The first comment of Ann Coulter was obviously satirical. The second was a legit question, although the adjective could have been omitted.

Rush Limbaugh is strictly an asshole, and I am not familiar with Alex Jones.

I am more familiar with Al Sharpton, who is probably the worst racist and hater in the USA, and Joy Behar, who spews her bile daily on "The View." Keith Olberman has a whole thread on this forum in which his hatred is vented, so I will say no more about him.

This blatant and ridiculous hatred spewing by the reactionary faction here is downright irrational. There seem to be more of them on this porn story forum than is their share of the population at large even.

LOL....You're outraged by the hate. I frankly wish liberals would just calm down acknowledge Trump is the President and act like normal people. Instead of bringing up points rationally they rant and scream and call people names. Well I for one won't be bothered any longer.

Let's see Trump act like a normal person.

What is harder to parse is the joy conservative Republicans seem to get in hurting the weak, making the GOP not just the punishment party, but also the schadenfreude party. Or put in different terms: Conservatism didn’t create meanness, but meanness sure created conservatism.

We might be able to understand that sense of smug moral and social superiority from doctrinaire Republicans who spout Ayn Rand and detest those whose hurdles are the highest. We all know hate can be intoxicating. But these past two weeks Ryan and Trump have been gambling on something else — that many of their fellow Americans agree with them, that these Americans share a deep and abiding hostility to those who need government assistance.

What puzzles me is the hate.

What Conservative Repblicans that have been elected to high positions in our government display is hate.

President Obama chose to keep James B. Comey.FBI Director James Comey was sworn in on September 4, 2013.I supose it was done out of political necessity. Do not fix what is not broken.

What Comey displayed at the Hillary Clinton hearings was his facial expression of hate.

They persecuted Bill and Hillary Clinton for what was common practice among Republicans.

Outright, bare, naked hatred for Hillary Clinton was expressed at Trump rallies.Permission to express hate was given, and it was expressed violently.

Hate, a reason to feel united in hate. Meanwhile, the people who look to Trump to harness that hate, are coldly calculating.

Everything that America is valued for, is getting erased. It took forty years, and every horror is falling into place.

The Constitution and America may no longer exist, in the forms that they were in, before Trump.

Yes, hate is useful.

But, why the hate, in the first place ?

Every leftist post subject on here is about "hate". They would rather see human rights and safety of the country destroyed due to their cry baby hate over the election. Hillary was a liar and took money for policy. The FBI director lied to cover up Hillary so I don't take anything he says either way in Congress. He is a dirty cop just like Obama's DOJ was a crook by taking a bribe from Bill Clinton. And Obama admitted he lied to Congress and to the Democratic Party about Obama Care to get it thru. And his puppets in Congress and Senate admitted they didn't read it and still haven't stated that they have. That isn't hate, but facts.

Obama and Clinton's did all they could to destroy the rights of the Constitution. What the people did when they elected Trump was tell him we want those rights back, we want our borders protected, our cities free of the criminals that Obama and the leftist protect and our jobs back. That is not hate. What is hate is what the leftist are doing and saying every day. If they really wanted to work for the people they would do their jobs and not try to have another eight years of "do nothing" Congress.

And the Russians are happy Trump won. If Hillary won the Russians would have to keep paying Clinton along with all the other dictators who had her on their payroll.

You know Obama and his friend the Mayor of Chicago truly show that "black lives matter". Just as the Clinton's show how much they respect woman. And both are very religious. They pray to the dollar bill every day.

Come on folks, stoop with your cry baby hate. Watch MSNBC for a laugh and find something free and shiny to play with. And when you grow up try thinking for yourself instead of being led around like sheep. Smile be happy.

A case study in irony:

What puzzles me is the hate. ... Yes, hate is useful. .... But, why the hate, in the first place ?

Why? Well, we're just loving the peace and tolerance displayed by the left so much that really, we want to reciprocate in kind.....

Three people are arrested after Trump supporters are doused with pepper spray as they clash with protesters during Make America Great Again march in Huntington Beach. Note of course that this was peaceful pro-Trump gathering that was attacked by the peaceful and tolerant left. Why the hate?

And of course a lot of us have now picked up on Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals and shoving it right back in the left's faces. It's fun and very productive. After all, why let activism be a one way street.

Honestly, I've seen some dumb questions here, but that's gotta take the prize. Well, maybe not, but if you ask that question and say it with a straight face, well, all I can say is you're part of the problem. I mean, for years you've (and I use this generically) trampled over everything a significant part of this country believe in and value and treated our views with contempt. What goes around comes around. We've learnt from you.

Now after all of this opposition to Trump after he was elected, what do you think might happen next time a Democrat gets elected President. And okay, that may be twenty years out but its a possibility. We're learning from you. And what could possibly go wrong with that, I ask you?

So if you really want to know why the hate, just take a look at the views and opinions expressed by the majority of those opposing Trump on this Politics Board and there, right before your eyes, you have the reason. I come here, read what you say and really, I detest most of your views. Just as no doubt you detest mine. There, in a nutshell, you have the issue.

How to compromise and do it civilly? The left has proven over the years that there is no compromise. It's all push and take, push and take. Well, guess what. What goes around comes around. And I've said it before, voting for Trump is one big finger at all of you and your views. Learn from it, really.

Why the hate? Take a long slow careful look in the mirror and it's looking right back at you.

As I see it you have a 75 - 25 split.

75% of them are Right Wing talk radio clones. They have been raised on 30 years of Hannity and Rush and Fox News, which comes straight from the Dark Money interests. You know, if your mommy and daddy were racists, you'll probably be a racist. They have been guzzling a Fox News bottle their whole life, which teaches them to hate. The Dark Money interests don't care; it's all about money and control for them, but they've learned to propagandize their interests by manipulating the sheep

The other 25% are just miserable SOB's. The school shooters, the die hard racists, the misogynists, the self-haters.

What puzzles me is the hate.

Steve Bannon hates Paul Ryan ?

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman has been following Paul Ryan for a number of years and Krugman just put another nail in Paul Ryan's coffin.

The Scammers, the scammed. and America's Fate

It’s about Paul Ryan, the speaker of the House. ...

Some people seem startled both by the awfulness of Mr. Ryan’s plan and by the raw dishonesty of his sales pitch.

But why ?

"...he’s still the same guy I wrote about back in 2010, in a column titled “The Flimflam Man.”

I wrote that column in response to what turned out to be the first of a series of high-profile Ryan budget proposals. While differing in detail, all of these proposals share a family resemblance:
Like his health plan, each involved savage cuts in benefits for the poor and working class, with the money released by these cuts used to offset large tax cuts for the rich. All were, however, sold on false pretenses as plans for deficit reduction.

Worse, the alleged deficit reduction came entirely from “magic asterisks”: claims about huge savings to be achieved by cutting unspecified government spending, huge revenue increases to be achieved by closing unspecified tax loopholes. It was a con job all the way.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/24/...0324&nl=opinion-today&nlid=77224507&te=1&_r=0

Trump’s health-care bill was written by the House Speaker, Paul Ryan, who is a more traditional conservative, and, as the Congressional Budget Office and other nonpartisan analysts have noted, older, rural, low-income white voters—the Trump base—would fare worse under the new legislation than under Obamacare. This makes the American Health Care Act a poor showpiece, to say the least, for Trump’s alleged transformation of the Republican Party into a vehicle for white-working-class assistance.

Nonetheless, Bannon knows that the Ryan bill’s failure would be catastrophic for the rest of Trump’s agenda, because it would break a core campaign promise and sap Trump’s already limited political capital. So, on Saturday night, Bannon secretly hosted Mark Meadows, the leader of the Freedom Caucus, for several of hours of negotiations in the war room.

“...there’s a bigger play in the works here.”

Probably that Bannon is now ready to take down Paul Ryan, which is something that he said that he would do since last Fall, shortly after he came on board as Trump's campaign CEO. Bannon was quoted in RedState in September as saying that he disapproved of Ryan, questioning Ryan's loyalty to Trump (there is none). Bannon said that, "Ryan will be gone by Spring."

Steve Bannon has a list of people, mounted on the wall of his war room in the White House, a "shit list" to be precise. Steve Bannon intends to clean house. The Daily Beast reported on that:

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2017/...it-List-In-WH-War-Room-And-Paul-Ryan-Is-Toast

"Mark, I’m coming after you,” Trump said, only half-jokingly, on Tuesday

Freedom Caucus aides said they were similarly unperturbed on Friday. One simply responded to The Daily Beast’s question regarding potentially getting on Trump and Bannon’s “shit list” with one word:

“Meh.”

If Trumpcare/Ryancare goes down in flames, a great share of the blame will inevitably be shoveled onto Speaker Ryan and House GOP leadership—a Republican leadership that just two short years ago Bannon was calling out as “all cunts.”

The older I get, the more I realize that hate is a vital and central fact of human existence and it is never going to disappear. If we managed to remove every possible reason for hate, people would still chose sides and create conflict just because it creates meaning in life.
