What porn tropes can you not resist including in your writing?

I write way too many virginity driving the incest plot.

I find the extreme tropes (brother outed as small dicked, save from gay, etc.) better just avoided but I probably bull through the china shop more than I'd like to believe.
Do you publish on Literotica? Did not find any stories under your username.

I've written other stories besides LE and women can always deep-throat. The one story I have here on LE, the woman can't DT and the male protagonist has mental powers and is able to suppress the woman's gag reflex using his power so she can do DT. I'm always intrigued by it, maybe because I have never been with a woman who could do DT. Not that I have been with a lot of women who gave me a BJ, <10. I'm not a huge-hung porn star either. It just seems like that doesn't really happen in real life that often. Much to my disappointment. :)

Hmm, if we are talking sex, then any story without some decent cunnilingus simply sucks in my opinion ;) (assuming there are women involved)
Also, while truly dominant women are not a must, I like it when women have agency, especially when they are the ones initiating sex and taking the lead.

Hyper-sensitivity and hyper-arousal in general. Every touch feels good, every erogenous zone is available for stimulation, knees get weak from the barest touch. This is a double edged sword for me -- if a story comes right out the gate with everyone acting sex-crazed and horny with no build up, I find it off-putting. But with sufficient build up and tension, I like it when everything feels heightened in a way that isn't strictly realistic.

I use the device or porn in a lot of stories, woman shot porn in her past, woman needs money and decides to try porn. Or using Mom son porn vids in general in taboo stories to enhance the son's desire for his mother, or the mother finds it on his computer and realizes he's attracted to her...

I've used virgin brother a couple of times because big sister seducing younger brother is my personal favorite pairing in the genre. Last year I gave in to the trope of the nerdy virgin brother being well endowed, figured may as well give it a shot...and it placed in a contest. They're tropes for a reason I guess.

I don't mind it done well. It's when its pretty much the only impetus for sex.

I don't find a sister "saving" her brother from virginity or public scrutiny as "female agency," especially when the authors LOVE to write the brother milquetoast. (save maybe a god tier penis which, establish the girl had enough sex to know what a bigger dong can do for HER, not just what she's heard scuttlebutt)

A (likely older) sister molding her brother soft ball o' clay into her desirables has some legs.

It's not that I mind the tropes, I've just seen them enough to feel I'd just be shading the bowl of fruit still life more to my thinking.

I'd rather play with other big concepts for now and work on my nuanced detailing through tropes later.

I agree with all that - and sadly have been guilty of writing that way 😬.

What porn tropes can you not resist including in your writing?

Gosh, all of them?

The sillier ones are the most fun sometimes. Ridiculous endowment would be first on the list. Nonexistence of the refractory period. A veritable Noah's Flood of bodily secretions. Characters aroused instantly to mind-numbing levels of excitement by minor visual or tactile stimuli who then immediately abandon lifelong values and all judgement.

Perhaps most unbelievable of all, No Bad Sex. Everybody has fun tonight.

I might not always be taking it as seriously as I could.

Now that was funny. And informed.

First time lovers.
Male wasn't prepared at all for sex, just seizing on an opportunity.
Three immediately successive ejaculations at the highly pressured request of his boss/mentor (who was an sexual Olympian)

It was otherwise so well written, I went to scholarly research to see if maybe all the hormones in food these days turned younger gens into god damn Supermen when I wasn't paying attention. :ROFLMAO:

I resist most porn tropes because I find them unimaginative and tedious - but then, I rarely watch porn. Having said that, I have plenty of tropes of my own.

After thinking about it for a while, I have to admit that I, almost, always include some form of bondage. This might be because I use it in my stories as leverage in the 'fork in the road idea'. Not sure if it makes a lot of sense but the fork stands for a difficult decision the character has to take in order to add to the build up of my story.
To read stories that basically jump right in, pizza delivery guy style, I find those difficult to accept.

For me the obvious one is female ejaculation. I’m normally the protagonist in my stories and - on paper at least - I give Adriana Chechik a run for her money. Real life is rather a different story. I include squirting as it mirrors male ejaculation and is just - IMO - rather sexy.

What things that are quotidian in porn, but seldom (if ever) happen in real life, do you allow into your writing?

Plenty of bisexual women, although I also have both pure lesbians and straight women in my stories (so not purely following the trope where every woman is bi). And a couple of the latter who were pulled into FMF threesomes and were uncomfortable with contact with the second woman (but were there due to attraction to the man or, for want of a better word, surveillance.)

I have only one female character who has significant ejaculation, and it’s been noted by a couple of other characters who expressed surprise slash amazement.

‘Visible’ male cum shots, but also plenty of cum swallowing. Whether or not this latter is a porn trope, in *my* real life experience it’s much less welcome than it is in my stories (maybe that‘s why it’s in my stories.)

I generally like all those over-the-tope tropes. For me, erotica desn't need to be even remotely realistic, so Biologically impossible it is!

I'm guilty of Every Woman is Bi. For a long time I'd been consuming lesbian erotica only, so when I started fanficking they were about lesbian sex.

In my regular stories I avoid The Bigger The Better trope, although I wrote some stories aim specifically to explore it, mostly for its comedic value.

I tend to subvert porn tropes - so a fair few men need to ejaculate quickly so their second erection lasts long enough to be worth fucking, etc. Some have smallish penises. Sometimes people fall asleep and have to have the sex later.

I do have a majority of bisexual women, but then I am. A few are explicitly straight or gay. There's probably at least half bisexual men, too. Not to mention the pragmatists who'd never turn down a blow job. "That's not gay. That's just common sense."

Most frequent? Giving in to desire and lust against the wagging fingers of common sense, moral rectitude and one other which may not be mentioned on the pages of Literotica.

The only good tropes are the ones you can either upend or make them look like 'house of mirrors' distortions.

I've done warped versions of 'poker night,' the SBC vs. over-endowed white guy, inversions of 'vagina monologues.' Still lots to play with. IT is furiously ripe for parody but I cannot muster the will.

Me too. Then as I’m bi and I’m writing mostly (except for the odd Futanari fantasy) from personal experience, hard to involve non-bi women, unless it’s “meanwhile in another room”.
