Whack it into the counter.
It did not work. Just broke in half. Still couldn't peel.

Pre cut it before freezing?
Hindsight.
I think I have to let it melt a little and get it at just the right time. Banana babysitting.
Oh for the love of... pass it here.
for cooking i assume (banana bread)
throw it in a bowl and quick thaw it in a microwave, or broil it in an oven briefly.
If the resulting goop hasn't filled the bowl, break off the end and squeeze it out... though it will very likely break open/ fall apart when you try to pick it up at all.
Oh for the love of... pass it here.

I suggest you listen and hand it over.
Given her avatar, she seems to be some type of expert... Or have a potassium deficiency... Same shit![]()
The down pour and thunder interrupting some boating time.
I would kill to be interrupted by rain right now :l
Asshole drivers who do not understand the NY state law pedestrians in the crosswalk, crossing with the light, have the right of way. Three times in less than 20 minutes I was almost hit by idiots, the last one was pulled over by a cop.
NY here, too. The City is the most fun, with all the cabs gunning for us, huh?
The cab drivers are all over. I do kind of like being inside a cab and seeing everyone scatter...Upstate, it's the out-of-staters and the SUV drivers that try to hit me. When I do hit the City, I cross carefully. I aint a frog LOL

I've been hit by a cab, in NYC. Dumbass driver was arguing with someone on his phone. I did more damage to his cab - hood totaled, windshield cracked - than he did on me - scratch on my leg. LOL
*facepalm*
Okay, I feel like an asshole now. I'm sorry!!!
Looked forward to seeing some family today, since I originally thought I'd be in hospital today. Got to see family I wanted to, but also saw father, who started discussing RNC & election stuff...
He doesn't seem to get it's possible for us each/both to be alive & adults... Claimed I had no clue what I was talking about, was flat-out wrong, etc... & that was when he wasn't cutting me off mid-sentence.
So, I got a job offer a while back. Unfortunately, the person leaving the position is doing so after an unfortunate event, but I didn't let that deter me. This is business. I can be sad for my friend (leaving), and still do what's in my best interest.
I walked into interviews understanding my strengths, not demanding X $$, but calmly pointing out what it would require for me to join the company, and that I would be bringing a fuck-ton of unique, credible and applicable experience to the table.
Got a great offer.
As I'm wrapping things up with my current employer, the Estrogen Machine which runs rampant in my industry starts to click into high gear. Emotions are taking center stage, which means as supportive and happy for me as colleagues are... I'm also being told to be cautious. To watch my back. That I can't trust this new employer after how ___ was treated. That they aren't free to say what they've heard, but what they've heard isn't good.
My response?
I don't play telephone. Don't imply; speak plainly. If you aren't willing to tell me something to my face, don't bother whispering rumors in my ear. I know you're worrying out of love, but it's my career. Focus on your own.
What I really want to say, is for the bloodyfuckingloveofallthatisholy, do you people think I'm an idiot? That I don't understand the politics of THIS industry at THIS point in time? That I live in a conservative right to work state? That no job is safe right now? That I recognize the work I have ahead?
Example - The person I'm replacing told me last week that I got stuck in Atlanta AND New Orleans on the same day because it's really important I book flights early, or the risk of delays increase.
Yes. I know. I've been traveling 50% for the last year. That's why my Atlanta flight was booked for 8am. Of course, I wasn't expecting the airline computer glitch that stranded 900 flights 36 hours earlier, but you're right - booking early helps avoid delays.
New Orleans? I would have booked an earlier flight than 8pm (we finally left at 10:30), but I had to be in my account until 5pm. The 8pm flight was as "early" as I could book AND service my account.
It will all blow over. I will do well at the new job. And the Estrogen Machine will keep on chugging along...
