Made the decision a while back "Bad Beats Sad" (Ironic initials added "all else is just B-S")... If someone ticks you off in a discussion, let them know ASAQ (As Soon As Quick) verbally, physically, or both.

Finally got contacted Wed by someone who works for a place I'm supposed to be admitted next Wed (after waiting home all day Tues, day someone else told me they would be calling me)... We conversed fine with them telling me I'm coming to have tests done to find out reason I am having another problem I've had for a while now despite being on "anti-" them meds for over a year.

At end of convo, she says, "I think they have you scheduled for next week."
Me: "Yeah. The date I was given is a week from today exactly, actually."
Her: "Well, we'll see you then, & SEE IF YOU HAVE THOSE PROBLEMS. Goodbye."

[Had already explained to her in same convo I wouldn't be claiming them if they weren't happening almost-always.]

It's hard to avoid discussions given the current uk situation, but I reserve comments for Facebook where I know I am on the same page as my friends :)

And I agree with Consilience.

This particular situation we find ourselves in has polarised discussion, so there is no scope for constructive debate. In or out. Yes or no. Absolutely no room for compromise. A harsh line dividing both sides which I've never experienced before and don't feel comfortable with at all.

So yes. Please take over as soon as you like :). And I'm sorry you're missing G :rose:
 
Idiots who believe they're entitled to a programming job because they took ONE programming language in college and that said language is universally used. Sorry Biff, but no one uses Java to pull information from large data bases.
