I live with a twin sized electric blanket on my side of the bed. Its small enough I can use it even if hubby is home but large enough I get the coverage I need. I LOATHE waking up cold, puts me a vicious mood the rest of the day.

I'm pissed off because my sales numbers were lower than I would have liked yesterday, possibly due to the ever-increasing pain I was in during my shift. Barely made it home and collapsed into an on-off-on-on-on-off-on-off spasm/twitch storm session that lasted hours. Only time I got to spend with my kid yesterday was us in my bed watching movies together. Which is better than nothing but damn it, I wanna be a better mommy than that.

I've been known to chuck a 50 pound dog on the floor to take back my blanket. I'm territorial with it. I've found some brands are really easy to break, others a bit sturdier, at least here in the US. Pretty happy with my Sunbeams but have others crap out after six months, which is super-frustrating.

I assume that's not actually true and is just her projecting a fantasy.
