Im trying to convince my gf to shave so i can pleasure her better but she thinks that she is afraid that it will grow back "thick and coarse"

can some of the chicks (or guys whos gfs shave) put some details here if it does grow back coarse and thick or if there is any other sideaffects of any kind or if there is none.

Thanx in advance

I am a model, so I shave my "pretty parts" %95 of the time.
I like it that way because I have no bikini line, but there are downsides.

1. It is a bitch to upkeep.
2. If you aren't careful, you cut yourself.
3. It DOES grow back thick and coarse.
4. A woman is more prone to infections because the hair's purpse in nature is to keep out bacteria from the vagina. If you don't have absolutely excellent personal hygiene down there (and most people dont), she will be more prone to infections.
5. It is a two person job to do it right and most of the time the other person is not available/willing/ready.
6. If she is a dark haired woman, it can leave a dark grayish shadow on her vaginal lips, making it look a little garish.
7. It will itch and often sting when growing back.

If she does decide to shave though, advise her to use a little hair conditioner on the external skin. That will help stop a rash or itching.

Wait and see there are TONS of chicks here sporting the "bald" look................you'll hear.....wait and see.

Of course you knew I'd answer this one...

I don't shave, I use Magic Lotion. Just like Wizzie here.

What does Magic Lotion do? Is it available in Canada?

Nope

I just trim, that's all. I love by little bush and I don't have the time to waste. I have no desire to look like I am 9 years old. Love me, love my little beaver, lol.

I'm disappointed Cheyenne. :( You needed to explain WHY you use Magic to answer cozmo's question.

Kinkx,

Magic is a depilitory designed specifically for black men. It can be found in the Men's Shaving section of Walmart, Walgreen's, Target, and similar stores. It comes in powder or lotion form. It can also be found occasionally on the web, but no site seems to have it on a consistent basis.

Because Magic is formulated to address the problems of bumbs and irritation that plague those with curly facial hair it is ideal for dealing with the bumps, rashes, itching, etc associated with removing pubic hair as well.

(Black males are only the most numerous group that have chronic problems with bumps and ingrown hair. I'm white but have similar problems)

Because Magic and other depilitory product don't cut the hair off where it is thickest, but remove it completely at the root, the hair doesn't grow back thicker and itch as much as it does with shaving.

Any method that removes hair at the roots is preferable to shaving if thickness and itching are a concern. Magic seems to have the added advantage of causing new growth to be straighter and less likely to become ingrown.

While removing everything with Magic is much easier than trying to shape a ramander, it would be useful for reducing the amount need to be shave for shaping purposes. Use Magic to shape a rough outline bigger than the desired remainder and then shape carefully with a razor and shaving cream for a sharply defined bikini line.

NOTE: I have no practical experience with either Magic depliatory or bikini lines. This is simply a modification of techniques for managing a beard.

Sorry, just a bad night for me overall.

Trimmed is my fav, so I guess I love you and your little beaver.lol

I suggest, if you can talk her into it--don't shave everything--just the area around her vaginal opening.
I, personally, only shave my labia and around my ass (getting older seems to make me hairier!!!!)
(If you want to see, i have a pic posted in harder stuff)
I am very uncomfortable with my mons (hairy part in front) shaved--it always leads to ingrown hairs and is most unsexy on me. But for my labia--it is much more confortable. I live in a sub-tropical climate and sweating is a way of life here--anything to reduce it is a popular thing.
It is also much more comfortable when I am menstruating. MUCH MUCH more.

All the guys tell me it makes them much more willing to enjoy oral sex too--of course, I carry a razor in my overnight bag!!!!

I'm a natural blonde and have been shaving most of my pubic area for a very long time. The hair, when it has a few days to grow in a bit, is still quite fine, soft, and very light brown (not actually blonde anymore). I've had problems with bumps only a couple times in all the years i've been shaving.

No fair!

I've had problems with bumps only a couple times in all the years i've been shaving.

Lucky!!

I get HORRENDOUS bumps! Unmentionable bumps! it's horrid. And my hair is very coarse and very thick already... and.. it's just awful.

Nair works better for the bikini line for me... but I'm excited to try this magic stuff... I'm just a little scared about the spatula part.. it seems my skin is so touchy... I went and read the previous threads, but .. I'm still scared...

It's funny that this thread popped up, I was going to post one myself! I figured there was no better crowd to ask..

:D

You do realize they mean rubber spatula, don't you?

I imagine that one of the small ones intended for small necked bottles and jars would work well.

Much prefer the neatly trimmed look myself. A little waxing a little trimming and presto. I do not care for the hairless look myself it reminds me too much of people prepped for surgery.:D
