What makes your S o u l F u l l?

I do believe in soulmates, but I don't think we all have one or that we would recognize the person immediately. It takes time to know someone, even if you click in the beginning.

I believe it's all about the connection. Letting go when your paths are different because you know they will come back together. Thinking of him and finding out he thought of you just days earlier. Not picking up where we left off because we both grew and changed in the year apart. Being comfortable, trusting each other, always being honest when we meet again. I'm not explaining it well. It's hard to capture in words what it feels like to know that person is yours and you are his. It doesn't matter where we are in life or who we are with. We have different interests, different wants we pursue but we are always connected. We don't get jealous, we don't wonder about each other. That's the connection. We may part again sometime in the future but we will always find each other.

Love is just a word. Without action, I believe it's meaningless. We have used the word love maybe twice to each other. We don't need it. We show each other when we laugh, get irritated, play jokes, flirt...again I am not explaining it well, but it's different for everyone. I met him on lit, but now we exist in the real world. It isn't just telling each other about our real lives. I've prank called him at work, he has called me on my cell. We are real people with each other.

This is love to me. This is part of our connection. He is my soulmate.
 
The romantic side of me would like to believe in soul mates.
The rest of me is realistic and knows I've made it this far without one
and luck is not on my side to find one.

I think we can have several of them, and they don't have to be the opposite sex, How the link is forged in the first place is interesting, but once the link is done that is it.
Recently someone said to me that some soulmates are here to challenge you and they are spiritual teachers brought back into your life to teach you lessons.

I am sure this thread will be a long and iteresting topic, something soulmates are worthy of.

Your soulmate sees the beauty in you when you do not see it in yourself.
Your soulmate loves you with all their heart.
Your soulmate eyes twinkle when they think of you.

In life we may not find our soulmate, but for those of us that do.... How can I describe it? Your heart is full of love and your life fulfilled because they are in it.
