Do we really, or are you asserting an unsubstantiated claim as fact?We all have one.
No.Do you believe we were once split apart and destined to find each other?

No.
In fact, I find the whole idea complete and utter bullocks.
What's more, I think the idea actively harmful because it promotes unhealthy, unrealistic expectations about one's romantic partner(s).
Iam 37yo, twice in my life so far i have met what i thought was my soulmate.
Love...True love has the ability to heal and hurt....Battle Scars.
I hope there is a TRUE soul mate out there.. When im healed she better watch out.
It is a most beautiful ideal.
Soulmates can be friends too, everyone should have oneI have some of the best soul friends

I don't believe in the idea of a soul mate, but do believe in soul mates....I think the idea of one single person fitting the void in your existence, for the rest of your life, is too romantical. But the thought that you can find someone, who gives your soul what it needs at that moment in time, seems much more plausible and realistic.
How many times have people come into our lives, left a tiny or huge impression, and then moved on? We may not have realized it at the time, but years later for reasons unknown they pop into our mind, and we wonder......I think for that brief twinkle in time, that person was perfectly matched to your soul and gave you what you needed to carry on to the next....
